Dale and Nathan discuss Donovan’s legacy in Utah and what the future holds for the franchise. There might also be some jokes made at the expense of the New York Knicks.

The Utah Jazz traded Patrick Beverly to the Los Angeles Lakers for Talen Horton-Tucker and Stanley Johnson. Dale and Nathan talk about what it means for the future of Utah, and get a bit too in-depth on what it means for LA. Come on, this is a Jazz Podcast!!! Of course, a Jazz Podcast today isn't complete without discussing Donovan Mitchell trade rumors, and thankfully he has not been traded as of this description being typed. To finish up, Nathan and Dale sell out and follow in the footsteps of every NBA podcast this month by discussing Kevin Durant and the Brooklyn Nets.

Our monthly Jazz podcast. We discuss why it makes strategic sense to not trade Donovan Mitchell yet unless the Jazz can get an outrageous return for him. We also get a little sidetracked and talk about what else is going on in the NBA and how this upcoming season is going to be really interesting where NBA teams will either be contending or tanking without much in between.

The Utah Jazz have a lot riding on the first round this year. Will they have to blow it all up?
-
The title may be a bit dramatic, but the Jazz have underperformed this year and there have been rumors surrounding Gobert, Mitchell, and coach Q. So if the Jazz lose in the first round there is a real chance that we see one or more of them playing (or coaching) for another team next season. What do you think the Jazz will do in the offseason?
-
With the Utah Jazz struggling this year and rumors swirling that the Los Angeles Lakers and San Antonio Spurs might be looking to hire coach Quin Snyder in the off-season, what is his future with the team?

The Jazz had a rough loss tonight but they are still solidly in the fourth seed in the West and most likely will have home court advantage going into the playoffs. Donovan Mitchell put up 30 points but didn't get much help from his team. Kevin Durant had an incredibly efficient 37 points to lead his team to victory as they try to claw their way out of the play-in game. #NBA #Jazz #Nets

The Jazz lost a tough one against the Bucks but everything went uphill from there despite the injuries. All of the injuries seem like an excuse to rest several players against a short-handed Clippers team. So after a gloomy episode last Saturday we got to be positive again. #NBA #UtahJazz #TakeNote

After this game, the Jazz are now tied for the fifth spot in the West with the Mavs. The Jazz hit 10 threes in the first quarter but only finished with 17 threes. If the Jazz don't turn things around soon they will lose home-court advantage come playoff time.

After dropping two of their last three games, Dale and Nate ask if the Utah Jazz will be able to keep the number four seed, or lose it to the Denver Nuggets or the Dallas Mavericks?

The Utah Jazz have 20 games left of the season. And it looks like the Jazz will finish the season with the fourth seed. They have a chance to overtake the Grizzlies and/or Warriors to sneak into the third seed and maybe even the second seed if some craziness happens. But should the Jazz really want to move up in the standings? Staying where they are likely means a first-round matchup with the Mavericks and moving up will likely be a matchup with the Nuggets or Clippers who may have some stars returning by the playoffs.

The Jazz came up with a big four-point win against the Suns today. The Suns are missing Chris Paul but have still been playing elite basketball without him. This pushes the Jazz to within three games of the third seed in the West as they'll try to overthrow the Grizzlies by season's end. Donovan Mitchell had another great performance tonight and the Jazz received a ton of scoring help from Jordan Clarkson off the bench.

A lot of people have been talking about how all of the championship contenders are in the East so they are concluding that the Eastern Conference has not only caught up to the West but has surpassed it. In this episode, I discuss why I don't think that is the case. During the second half of the episode, I give my post-game review of the Jazz vs Mavericks game which ended in a tight victory for the Jazz. Foreshadowing, the Jazz need to stop turning the ball over and the Mavs need help for Luka.

The Utah Jazz look like they need another piece if they want to be an NBA Finals contender. Other than the possibility of the buyout market, the team is set in stone for this season. What options do the Jazz have after this year to look take the next step?
