  • Do you need God’s divine activity and power in your life? Today on the podcast, Christine Caine is joined by her good friend, Tara Beth Leach. Tara Beth is the senior pastor at Good Shepherd in Naperville, IL., co-founder of Propel Women Cohorts, an author, and a boy mom. In the midst of a packed schedule, Tara Beth stays passionate about life and ministry by remaining connected to the Lord and encourages us to do the same. Listen in to discover the importance of staying connected to the Source, as well as practical ways to do so. Christine and Tara Beth bring some great tips in today’s episode – you don’t want to miss it!

    SHOW NOTES:

    The Main Thing

Our culture is full of distractions that can fill our minds with divisions, competition, comparison, and immorality. We need to remain connected to God, allowing his voice to be the loudest in our lives.

    Listening to God

Tara Beth encourages us to hold a holy reverence that motivates obedience to God. “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.” Proverbs 9:10.

    Remaining Steadfast

Tara Beth shares 5 things that she’s doing to ensure she’s reaping a harvest later in life:

    1. Connect with the Lord every morning and aim to abide in him all day.

    2. Invest in your marriage.

    3. Make friendships a priority.

    4. Take care of your body through exercise.

    5. Discover a meaningful hobby.

  • Today on the podcast, Christine Caine is joined by Rev. Dr. Kate Coleman, the founding director of Next Leadership. A trailblazer in ministry, Kate was the first accredited black female minister in Great Britain and served as the President of the Baptist Union in the UK from 2006-2007. Kate's interview will inspire you to pave the way for the leaders coming after you and move boldly toward God's calling on your life. Listen in as Christine and Kate share how to cultivate continual transformation and make a lasting impact in your sphere of influence.

    SHOW NOTES:

    Women in Leadership

Kate shares her story of navigating denominational differences and how God grew her into a woman of bold faith and brave leadership.

    Opposition in Leadership

Kate did not want to be a source of division, and her pastor spoke words that can encourage all of us today: “I think God has already spoken to you, and you don’t have the luxury of saying ‘no’ to God.”

    Preparation in Leadership

Kate and Christine share a passion for continued growth, as both women have pursued continued education. Kate carries a doctoral degree and Christine obtained a masters. Their conversation will challenge you to continue going and growing in your leadership!

    Metamorph

In her forthcoming book, Metamorph, Kate explains that we were made for continual transformation, growth, and development. It’s important not to take yourself too seriously or think you’re the one achieving success, especially when you get to high levels of leadership.

Propel Women is an initiative of Equip & Empower Ministries founded by Christine Caine.
We EMPOWER women with biblical wisdom and encouragement, EQUIP women with practical training and education, and MOBILIZE women by providing hands-on leadership opportunities.
No matter where a woman has influence - in an office, in her community, at home with her family, or in ministry - Propel is driven by a calling to equip and mobilize women to become effective co-laborers with Christ and make a difference within their unique spheres of influence.
