Under an inferior covenant, with only a type and shadow of Jesus to come represented in the ark, David finds himself full of thanksgiving and dancing as he returns the ark of the covenant to Jerusalem. Now, we’re learning that we have a dance unlike David’s—a dance he never could dance. Our dance now testifies that we have been made the righteousness of God in Christ—not by our own sacrifices, but by the superior sacrifice of Jesus.

The journey to cheerful endurance is less about pulling yourself by your bootstraps and more about finding Him in your process. As we're morphing into all that Abba has designed us to be, we begin to find joy in our own progress. The way forward is not self hate, it's becoming proud of yourself and seeing just how far the Father has brought you.

People are coming to the revelation that they are Hephzibah. When a people know they are Hephzibah they corporately become mighty oaks of righteousness. Inside of this revelation desolate and doomed cities become redeemed and cultures become established. This will then have a major impact on creation at large and the land will be called Beulah.

There’s something beautifully and incredibly violent about the love of God. It marks those who surrender to this love with a constraining or a detox of everything that is not love. It’s God who sends judgment towards anything in us that is not of loves kind.

When we believe the word over our lives that the Lord delights in us, we then become the mighty oaks of righteousness. With that revelation, we’re becoming more increasingly aware of the nature that rests on the inside of us. We are becoming the force of nature that He’s designed us to be.

In the well known story of the prodigal son, or as we know him - the redeemed heir, we see one brother is getting a party based on the faithfulness of the father. The other saying I should be thrown a party based on my own faithfulness. However, there is a third brother - Jesus. The older brother that came in the middle of our mess and carried us back to the Father.

The result of having a trinitarian vision of the cross is to see The Spirit as Lord. Seeing the Spirit as Lord removes the veil. With the veil removed we can now begin manifesting a resurrected life and become, as the scriptures declares, as He is in this world.

It’s not knowledge itself that transforms us, rather experience. The purpose of knowledge is to help usher us into the appropriate posture as well as the appropriate position. He’s positioning us as consequence of the right view of the cross to a greater level of openness and to enter into a deeper level of encounter with Abba.

One seemingly at the top of a religious system and the other being completely dismantled by love. Two hosts, two different responses. How will we respond to the presence of Jesus? He’s calling us out of the trees of our own efforts and down to dine with Him.

In Luke 19, we find the story of a tax collector by the name of Zacchaeus. Instead of his efforts climbing the tree being applauded by Jesus, He says something that would change his life forever. “Zacchaeus, make haste and come down”. This same call goes out to the hearts of people all over today. Come down out of the tree of your own efforts. He wants to abide with you.
