  • Mastering Self-Control: 3 Rules You Need Today!
Ever feel like your goals are within reach, but self-discipline keeps slipping away? In this episode, I’ve brought together some of the most powerful voices in personal development—Eric Thomas, Monica Aldama, Tim Grover, Ben Newman, Ryan Holiday, and Sam Acho—to tackle the fundamental rules for self-control. Self-discipline isn’t something you’re born with; it’s a skill you build daily. So together, we’re laying out three game-changing rules to help you focus, stay consistent, and reach the next level.

First, I share a rule that transformed my productivity: identifying and eliminating “discipline stealers.” Whether it’s getting lost in sports highlights or scrolling on social media, these little distractions drain our focus and stop us from moving forward. When you understand what’s stealing your focus, you can cut it out and start making real progress.

Eric Thomas digs into the power of “getting real” with yourself and committing to self-discipline. He shares how he had to face his own habits head-on to become the success he is today. Ben Newman talks about sacrifice and why real discipline often means choosing the harder path when the easy one is right in front of you. Tim Grover breaks down the mindset that made legends like Kobe and Michael the best in the world—the relentless pursuit of self-mastery and mental toughness.

The next rule is about making discipline a habit by scheduling your priorities. From the outside, it might look like I’ve got ironclad self-discipline, but the truth is, I’ve built routines that keep me focused and performing at my best. Monica Aldama talks about her experience coaching college athletes and the importance of structure and accountability in keeping them focused on their goals. Sam Acho emphasizes that discipline isn’t just about scheduling work; it’s about making time for relationships and personal growth too.

Finally, it’s all about keeping the promises you make to yourself. Ryan Holiday shares insights on how small, consistent actions are the foundation of self-mastery. Start with keeping small promises—whether it’s completing your morning workout or shutting off distractions at work—and let those victories build up your self-control over time.

    Key Takeaways:

    - Identify Your Distractions: Recognize and eliminate the things that drain your focus, so you stay on track.
    - Schedule Your Priorities: Treat self-discipline like a muscle and build routines that make high performance natural.
    - Keep Promises to Yourself: Start with small promises and let them grow into powerful habits of self-control.

This episode is your roadmap for developing self-discipline that sticks. If you’re ready to cut out distractions, build routines that support your goals, and stay true to your vision, these three rules—and the wisdom from these guests—will set you up for success.

Take action on these rules, learn from these legends, and start unlocking your full potential with the discipline to achieve your biggest dreams!

In this powerful mashup, I bring together some of the most inspiring voices—Eric Thomas, Brendon Burchard, and Jay Shetty—to reveal the impact of your environment and relationships on your journey to success. Together, we break down why your circle can either propel you toward greatness or keep you exactly where you are. If you’re serious about changing your life, it’s time to take a hard look at who you’re letting influence you.

I’ve lived it myself—surrounded by people who kept me comfortable but didn’t push me to be better. It wasn’t until I evaluated who I spent the most time with that I understood the power of proximity. Eric Thomas drives home the importance of having people around you who bring energy, not drain it. Brendon Burchard and Jay Shetty share how the right influences don’t just accept who you are; they see the greatness in you and won’t let you settle.

In this episode, we talk about how to create an environment of growth, starting with the people closest to you. Do they set a high standard? Are they future-focused? Or do they keep you anchored in the past? Making even a few shifts in your relationships can lead to life-altering changes in your mindset, energy, and results.

    Takeaways:

    - Why your environment is more powerful than willpower alone.
    - How to identify friends who are “energy givers” vs. “energy drainers.”

  • If you could go back and give advice to your younger self, what would you say?

That’s the question I got recently from a young man at a live event, and it’s one that hit me hard. I realized that I'd give up every dollar, every luxury, just to relive that energy, that drive. The truth? Right now is the youngest and most powerful you’ll ever be again. Whether you’re 20 or 53, there’s no better time to start living fully, with focus and intention.

One of the biggest lessons I wish I’d learned earlier? Only control what you can. So much of my life I spent trying to control outcomes, people’s opinions, or circumstances. But focusing on what I couldn’t change drained my energy and stole my peace. Imagine the freedom if you could just let go of that need to control every little detail and focus solely on what’s in your hands—your actions, your attitude, your growth. That’s where the power lies.

In this episode, I dive into the importance of protecting your energy—what I call your vibrational frequency. The highest energy wins. The most successful people aren’t just the most skilled or the smartest; they know how to show up with full presence, clarity, and focus when it matters most. To reach that level, you’ve got to stay aligned with your purpose and keep the distractions, doubts, and energy-draining worries out of your way.

Finally, I talk about raising your standards, not just setting goals. Goals are great, but they come and go. Standards? They shape who you become. Decide what level you’re truly comfortable with in every area of your life—relationships, finances, fitness—and watch how that “thermostat setting” drives you to either rise or cool back down. You will never exceed what you think you deserve, so set that thermostat high and surround yourself with people who challenge you to stay there.

    Key Takeaways:

Focus only on what you can control, and let go of the rest.

Protect your energy and show up with your best frequency.

Set and maintain high standards—don’t settle for less.

Surround yourself with people who push you to elevate.

This is your moment. Max out your life, kick some butt, and live so that, at the end, you’re proud of every single choice. God bless, and go all in.

In this episode, I’m thrilled to sit down with Jesse Itzler, an unstoppable entrepreneur, ultra-endurance athlete, and master of unconventional experiences. Jesse's journey is built on facing down fear, embracing challenges, and doing what most people would never attempt. From creating Marquis Jet and selling it to Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway, to venturing into the unknown time and time again, Jesse’s story is proof that success is found on the other side of risk.

Jesse dives into the art of tackling “the wall” — that point where fear, doubt, and hesitation threaten to stop you. He talks about how he built a mindset that not only pushes through but thrives in uncertainty. When he realized he wanted to experience private jet travel but couldn’t afford it, Jesse and his partner went straight to NetJets with nothing but a vision and unshakeable conviction. Against the odds, they secured a deal with Buffett’s team, setting the foundation for what became a game-changing business.

We also get into why Jesse believes routine kills creativity and how he designs his life around extraordinary experiences. He shares his practice of "Kevin's Rule," a commitment to creating meaningful experiences every two months. Jesse has made it his mission to build a “life resume” filled with unforgettable moments and deep connections.

    Key Takeaways:

Face the Fear Wall: Success often waits on the other side of your greatest fears.

Innovate Without Limits: Breaking from tradition can be a competitive advantage.

Build Your Life Resume: Pursue experiences that enrich your life and create unforgettable memories.

Be Irreplaceable: In every role—parent, partner, or professional—make yourself invaluable.

Time is Scarce, Act Accordingly: Treat each moment like it’s priceless, because it is.

This episode is packed with strategies to turn ambition into action. Jesse’s journey reminds us that life is too short to play it safe. Start building the life you want—one bold step at a time!

In today’s episode, I’m sounding the alarm on where we’re heading financially and what that means for your future. This isn’t just about goals or dreams—this is about waking up to the reality of what’s happening around us. The cost of living is skyrocketing, wages are stagnating, and inflation is eating away at our savings. Whether you’re 22 or 62, it’s time to take a hard look at where you are and where you’re going.

I’m sharing eye-opening stats, like how home prices have soared 138% in the past 15 years, while incomes have only risen 25%. This trend isn’t getting any better, and if you don’t make changes now, you could find yourself working harder just to keep your head above water. If you’re not earning enough, it’s time to consider new skills, a side hustle, or even a complete career change. The world is evolving fast, and so must you. I’m not going to sugarcoat it—this path won’t be easy. But if you want to rise above the average, you’ve got to be willing to put in the work and develop skills that make you undeniable.

Remember, your future won’t be shaped by chance—it will be determined by the actions you take today. This episode is about confronting the truth, taking control of your life, and making the decisions that will set you and your family up for success.

  • Ever wonder what true wealth is?

In today’s episode, I sit down with Scott Galloway, a fierce thinker, NYU professor, and one of the most influential voices on business, technology, and modern society. Scott pulls no punches as he redefines what it means to be truly wealthy—and why it goes beyond the numbers most people think about. Together, we confront the gap between appearances and actual financial security, touching on the lifestyle traps that can lead high-earners to economic stress, while those who live strategically build lasting wealth.

Scott and I also dig into the concept of following your passion. For all the young people out there, Scott makes a compelling case for honing your talents in practical fields, building toward mastery rather than just "following dreams." We’re breaking down what it really takes to succeed in a world that loves glamorizing the "overnight success" without showing the grit behind it.

We also tackle the future of artificial intelligence and what it means for today's workforce. Scott warns us that AI itself isn’t the enemy, but ignoring its potential impact on every job market could be. For anyone worried about the future, his advice is simple but profound—learn the tools of the new economy so you're always ahead of the curve.

Finally, we take a hard look at some tough societal issues, from the challenges facing young men today to the influence of social media on youth mental health. Scott’s unapologetic take on the need for positive male role models, community involvement, and emotional resilience is a wake-up call to us all.

This week's episode is a taste of what you can expect from this amazing event...

Romanticize Your Future: The Key to Unlocking Your Best Self
Imagine if you could fall in love with your future. Not just daydream about it, but truly romanticize it in the same way you might cherish a loved one. When you care deeply about something, you protect it, nurture it, and give it the attention it deserves. Today, I'm challenging you to approach your future this way—to fall in love with the life you want to create. When you do, the way you show up in the world changes. You start seeing opportunities that were always there, but now they stand out, clear as day.

The difference between winning and losing, success and failure, often comes down to a few pivotal moments. These moments define us, and being ready for them is critical. Life’s big breaks don’t come with a warning—they arrive when you least expect them. That’s why preparation is everything. You can’t rely on luck. Instead, you need to be consistently ready for those moments that could change your life. In this episode, I dive into how our thoughts shape our reality and how holding onto positive thoughts for just 15 seconds can shift your energy and set you up for success.

I’ll walk you through the concept of "thought stacking," where focusing on a thought for over a minute begins to reprogram your brain to notice opportunities that align with your goals. This isn’t just about thinking happy thoughts—it’s about creating a vibrational frequency that attracts the right people, opportunities, and circumstances into your life. I’m sharing strategies to interrupt negative patterns before they take root and how you can train your mind to stay focused on what you truly want, not what you fear.

What if I told you that romanticizing your future could be the key to unlocking a life you can’t wait to live? When you care for your future like you care for someone you love, you’ll do whatever it takes to make it happen. You’ll start seeing the world differently, and that’s when life really starts to transform. So today, we’re not just talking about setting goals or improving your mindset. We’re talking about creating a future so compelling that you can’t help but fall in love with it—and in the process, becoming the best version of yourself.
    Key Takeaways:

The difference between success and failure often comes down to a handful of moments.

Holding a thought for over 15 seconds can shift your vibrational frequency, attracting what you desire.

Thought stacking can help you reprogram your mind to focus on positive outcomes.

Romanticizing your future helps you care for it in a way that makes success inevitable.

Interrupting negative thought patterns before they take root is essential to maintaining focus and control.

So here’s my challenge to you: Start romanticizing your future. Fall in love with the life you’re building, treat it with the same care you’d give to something or someone you deeply cherish. Remember, you were born to do something great, and someone out there needs the best version of you. Let’s make sure you’re ready for that moment when it comes.

And don’t forget, to join me for “MAXOUT 2025" on December 9th for an exclusive event. This will be an intimate experience where you’ll get to learn directly from me in my home. Visit https://maxout2025.com.com to claim your spot before it sells out.

  • What if you could turn your challenges into your biggest strengths?

Today, I’m sitting down with Drew Davis, a young entrepreneur who took a high school project and transformed it into an extraordinary business success. Diagnosed with cerebral palsy and told his idea for Crippling Hot Sauce was “unrealistic,” Drew didn’t just overcome obstacles—he obliterated them. At 19, he’s sold over 250,000 bottles, built a thriving business from scratch, and is donating part of his profits to cerebral palsy research. This isn’t just about business; it’s about resilience, grit, and the power of believing in yourself when no one else does.

Drew shares the fascinating story of how he started with nothing but $3,000 of birthday money and an idea. Despite having no business experience and being told by his teacher that the concept wouldn’t work, Drew’s determination to prove them wrong fueled his success. We talk about the early days—mixing sauces in his family’s kitchen, selling out his first batch in 30 minutes, and how a local newspaper story ignited the growth of Crippling Hot Sauce.

In this conversation, we unpack the strategies Drew used to scale his company, from branding to leveraging organic and paid social media. His insight into building a brand with heart—donating 5% of profits to cerebral palsy research—shows how a powerful mission can elevate a business. Drew is proof that no matter your age or your challenges, you can achieve greatness when you’re willing to put in the work and believe in your vision.

  • What if I told you the key to changing your life is changing the meaning you attach to it?
In this episode, I’m breaking down one of the most critical skills you can master to truly transform your life—attaching meaning to the events that happen to you. It’s not what happens that defines us, it’s how we frame it. The meaning you attach to the successes, failures, and everything in between, shapes your entire reality. This isn’t just a mindset shift; it’s how you reclaim control over your life.

Think about the events in your life—trauma, missed opportunities, or even victories. What meaning have you attached to them? Have those meanings served you, or have they held you back? It’s time to take back the narrative. In today’s episode, I share personal stories, including how my dad reframed my losses in sports and taught me how to look for the good even in failure. That practice of finding the right meaning has been the key to much of my success.

I’m also challenging you to reflect on how you’re framing meaning for others—your kids, your team, or even your spouse. Are you planting seeds of belief, or are you unintentionally teaching them to settle? Leaders and parents, the invisible ways you frame the world for others can have lifelong effects. It’s time to take this seriously.

In moments of pressure, like making a crucial business decision or performing under stress, the meaning you attach to that moment determines how you perform. Attach the right meaning, and you reduce pressure. Attach the wrong one, and the weight can crush you. I coach top athletes and high performers on this, and today I’m giving you the same strategies.

If you only take one thing from this episode, let it be this: Your obsessions become your possessions. What you focus on and how you frame it will determine what you manifest in your life. If you want better results, it’s time to start attaching better meanings.

    Key takeaways:

How to reframe failure and setbacks into valuable lessons

The importance of framing meaning for the people you lead

How to reduce pressure by attaching the right meaning to high-stakes moments

Questions to ask yourself to reframe events so they serve you

Why your worldview and self-belief dictate what the world gives you

This episode is about taking control of the stories you tell yourself and others. By mastering how you attach meaning to life’s events, you’ll unlock the power to shape your future, reduce stress, and lead with intention, whether in your business, family, or personal growth.
