    Dr Martin Pedernera began his studies at the Faculty of Dentistry of the prestigious National University of Córdoba, Spain. During the course of his Dentistry studies he participated in numerous activities as a teacher. He graduated with a Bachelor of Dentistry in the same house of studies.

    In 2005 he moved to Tarragona, since then he has been developing his professional practice as an Orthodontist. He is the author and co-author of numerous scientific articles on orthodontic issues, in addition, in recent years, he has had the opportunity to give conferences and courses at an international level.

He received his DDS degree from Faculdade de Medicina Dentária Universidade do Porto, and his MSC in Orthodontics from ISCS-Norte Universidade do Porto.

    Dr. Monteiro has been running a successful private practice limited to Orthodontics in Oporto, Portugal since 2002, where he has earned a reputation for his exceptional care and expertise in the field. He is a Vice-president of Portuguese Aligner Society (SPAD), an Invisalign Diamond Apex Provider, and an Invisalign Official Speaker, making him a leading expert in clear aligner therapy.

    He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology with Honors from Arizona State University and attended dental school at The Medical College of Virginia at Virginia Commonwealth University from which he graduated Magna Cum Laude earning clinical and research awards.

    Dr. Scheyer received his Certificate in Periodontics, Conscious Sedation and a Masters Degree from The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and School of Biomedical Science, clinically focusing on Perio-Prosthetic Reconstruction. Dr. Scheyer was awarded the John F. Prichard Award for graduate research in February 2001. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. Dr Scheyer has and currently serves as an officer and committee member for many outstanding dental organizations.. He served as a District 5 Trustee for the American Academy of Periodontology and was President of the Southwest Society of Periodontists

    He is in private practice limited to Periodontics and Implant Dentistry in Houston, Texas. Dr Scheyer is a Clinical Assistant Instructor at the University of Texas Dental Branch-Houston and Guest Lecturer for the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He continues to be involved with clinical research and publications from the private practice setting.

    About Dr David Alfi

    Dr. Alfi is from Los Angeles, California, and was fortunate to attend Columbia University during dental school, where there was a heavy emphasis on oral surgery and academic medicine. While earning his dental degree, Dr. Alfi became interested in the multiple specialties of oral surgery. Radiology, anesthesia, diagnoses, medical management, dentistry, surgery—the more he learned, the more he knew this was the path for him.

    Following his residency, Dr. Alfi joined Houston Methodist and Texas Children’s Hospital while working as an associate professor and full-scope surgeon. He wanted to expand upon a practice that focused on research, innovation, patient care, and educating future surgeons. Dr Alfi then started his own private practice with the vision to excel in surgical outcomes and advance the field with research and development of surgical techniques.

    If a patient is nervous about surgery, Dr. Alfi helps them feel comfortable by knowing that the care they’re about to receive is exceptional, without compromise. To do this, he remains at the forefront of techniques and technology while supporting the patient through each step. He understands the great responsibility of caring for the health of another person, and Dr. Alfi is grateful for every opportunity to help someone achieve happiness through better health.

    Dr. Alfi earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery in 2006 and his Medical Degree (MD) from Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons in 2009. He completed a general surgery residency at New York-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center and he completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at Columbia University Division of OMFS.
