Born and raised in the Red Hook housing projects in Brooklyn, NY, Matty Rich, became highly regarded as the pioneer of Black Filmmakers. He gained major recognition at 19 as an acclaimed writer/director/producer with his award winning film, "Straight out of Brooklyn." His classic film "Inkwell" and his latest "The Birth of the Black Underworld" along with his work in video gaming and as a Professor at AFI continue to highlight his talent. Oduduwa Olatunji is Executive Director of the Pan African Film Festival.
