  • Today, we are going back into Part Two of my Healing the Hustle framework and my upcoming book. We are focusing on understanding our personality type and how this plays into our Hustle… or not. A lot of this episode is about separating nurture from nature. Nurture is this world we live in and the outside influences and forces that help sharp who we are and how we behave Nature is who we are innately, the tendencies and personality we are born with.

This can all be a little confusing, so listen in as I break it down and explain!

Enjoy this second installment of the new mini-series about Part 2 of Healing the Hustle! And remember, I always love hearing from my listeners. Feel free to reach out to me and of course I would love, love, love a review on iTunes, it helps others find us. And don’t forget to subscribe and follow for future episodes.

  • Welcome back to the Front Seat Life podcast, I am Jessica Butts your host. We are diving into Part Two of my Healing the Hustle framework and my upcoming book. I’ve written about 70% of the book and today we are moving into “Understanding Your Hustle.” And today I’m going to read to you from the book and add in a few explanations and stories too. Including the one about how I got my tattoo!

It’s funny, when I was a therapist and now I am again, but when I was a therapist, I complained there were too many rules keeping me from being able to do the work I wanted to do. However, there was this ethical and legal boundary that kept my work at work and made boundaries easier. When I became a coach that boundary disappeared, and it was a problem I created.

And it was all based on my worth, or lack thereof. See, part of my hustle was people pleasing. And I’m guessing yours is as well. Women are natural caretakers due to both nature and nurture. It runs in our DNA. We over-give because we feel bad or that we aren’t doing enough, especially if they are giving us money to be their coach.

When I was on a vacation, like the one I took to Maui a few years ago, I was still answering Facebook or Instagram DMs, checking my email, even though I had put my ‘out of office’ on and even had a wonderful assistant covering me. I was constantly thinking about my clients, my team, my work. There’s also another big reason why I, and our type do this…

We get validation from being busy and feeling needed. And I have done so much more work on this since I’ve written this section in my book and with this episode I share some insights that might also resonate with you!

  • Welcome back to the Front Seat Life podcast, I am Jessica Butts your host. I’m back on Maui and I could not be happier. We’re back for the third episode of a mini-series I’ve renamed How We Got Here and this is the Our Need to “Do” is a Trauma Response episode.

We have been talking about how we all got here, how we got to this place of hustling, your journey, my journey, sharing that, and giving you some tools. Our New World, which hit home with a lot of people. I heard from a lot of people about my saying, connection before capitalism, that seemed to really hit home with people.

And today is this Our Need to Do. Our need, specifically as women, and that this is our identity. This is a badge of honor. This somehow makes us better. And I’m here to tell you that I’m going through this as well.

So, I’ve been talking about nature and nurture and how our personality type absolutely plays a part in this. The nurture piece is so big, and this is absolutely 1000000% our family of origin. And there’s so many of us that are acting out. We are trying to prove ourselves to people, the world, and society. And then there’s often a trauma response to our family of origin. And societal norms.

These are two very powerful forces.

  • Welcome back everybody to the Front Seat Life podcast, I am Jessica Butts your host. We’re back for the second episode of a mini-series I’ve renamed How We Got Here and this is the Our New World episode. And this is all within the Healing Our Hustle focus for the podcast. This is all about how we got to this crazy hustle, hustle world and today we’re going to talk about that new world we find ourselves in.

The last 30 years have completely changed our existence. I mean, I remember like in high school, college even, and when I started my first job out of college, all we did was work. We didn’t have computers. There was no internet. We didn’t do any of this stuff. And so, within 30 years, our lives have completely changed, completely changed. With technology and phones, and obviously social media, all of it, the “how we got here” is just massive. This must be addressed. We’ve got to acknowledge the fact that we are now in hustle culture.

Absolutely because of this new world we live in. I was looking at my book earlier and all the things I had written down about how people can contact us. Back in the day, people called us on the telephone connected to our houses. We had the cool phones with the super, super, super long cord so that we could go into the bathroom and have a private conversation and have our parents not hear us. We used to do everything I R L, in real life. We had to actually see people.

So anyway, you need to listen to this episode. I just find this fascinating and creates a great sense of awareness. Please, enjoy this second installment of the new mini-series within the Healing the Hustle Series! And remember, I always love hearing from my listeners. Feel free to reach out to me and of course I would love, love, love a review on iTunes, it helps others find us. And don’t forget to subscribe and follow for future episodes.

And, because I said I would include them, here are the lyrics to The Man by Taylor Swift:

    I would be complex

    I would be cool

They’d say I played the field before I found someone to commit to

    And that would be ok

    For me to do

Every conquest I had made would make me more of a boss to you

    I’d be a fearless leader

    I’d be an alpha type

    When everyone believes ya

    What’s that like?

I’m so sick of running as fast as I can

Wondering if I’d get there quicker

    If I was a man

And I’m so sick of them coming at me again

‘Cause if I was a man

    Then I’d be the man

    I’d be the man

    I’d be the ma

    They’d say I hustled

    Put in the work

They wouldn’t shake their heads and question how much of this I deserve

    What I was wearing

    If I was rude

Could all be separated from my good ideas and power moves?

And they would toast to me, oh

    Let the players play

    I’d be just like Leo

    In Saint-Tropez

I’m so sick of running as fast as I can

Wondering if I’d get there quicker

    If I was a man

And I’m so sick of them coming at me again

‘Cause if I was a man

    Then I’d be the man

    I’d be the man

    I’d be the man

What’s it like to brag about

    Raking in dollars

    And getting bitches and models

And it’s all good if you’re bad

And it’s okay if you’re mad

If I was out flashing my dollars

    I’d be a bitch, not a baller

They paint me out to be bad

So it’s okay that I’m mad

I’m so sick of running as fast as I can

Wondering if I’d get there quicker if I was a man (you know that)

And I’m so sick of them coming at me again (coming at me again)

‘Cause if I was a man (if I was a man)

Then I’d be the man (then I’d be the man)

I’m so sick of running as fast as I can (as fast as I can)

Wondering if I’d get there quicker if I was a man (hey)

And I’m so sick of them coming at me again (coming at me again)

‘Cause if I was a man (if I was a man), then I’d be the man

    I’d be the man

    I’d be the man (oh)

    I’d be the man (yeah)

I’d be the man (I’d be the man)

    If I was a man

    Then I’d be the man

  • Welcome back everybody to the Front Seat Life podcast. I am Jessica Butts and thank you for all the love about the hundredth episode. It's pretty amazing to have a hundred episodes. I mean, do I have that much to say? I guess I do! I really appreciate the comments and the reviews, and the love and we are just going to keep this party going. And we're going to get back on track today Healing the Hustle.

So, today we are going to start with the first section of my new book which is answering the questions, “How did we get here? And why can’t I just be happy?” And this is broken into basically three main things.

The first is looking at your journey, how you got to where you are now. Like me sharing my journey of getting to where I am, both personally and physically here on Maui. Then we look at our new world, this crazy unbelievable new world we live in. And finally, it’s good to reflect on our obsessive need to "do." We live in a capitalist society and a culture that puts a lot of value on “the more you do the better.”

How can we not always be going, going, going? This need to “do” is some sort of badge of honor. It's a bunch of BS, quite honestly, but we've all bought into it, that we need more, we need to buy more. We're just spending our money like crazy people and we're not saving. And so, we always need a better job and to be making more money. We've always got to be hustling to do the next thing, because we've literally created this life, but it's also innate in us.

Okay, enjoy this first installment of the new mini-series within the Healing the Hustle Series! And remember, I always love hearing from my listeners. • Welcome back everybody. This is the Front Seat Life podcast, and I am Jessica Butts bringing you my 100th episode! It’s kind of amazing. I’ve paused, taken some time off, come back with Healing the Hustle, but today we get to celebrate! I believe in celebrations and that we should celebrate our life and business wins.

And I’m celebrating two major wins this week, my 100th episode and I got approved trademark for Front Seat Life! So, of course my 100th episode is going to be about personality type. And dialing it up, not dialing it down. Be more of who we are, not suppressing it or oppressing it. Not being vanilla in any way, shape, or form.

It’s hard for us to do, because we naturally focus on the stuff we suck at and think we need to get better at that, to try to please everyone. I explain some of the traps we can fall into and the mistakes we make. But our greatest gift or path in life is to become more of who we are. We are not meant to be in a zone of competence, but a zone of genius. So, dial it up!

And remember, I always love hearing from my listeners. Feel free to reach out to me via email and of course I would love, love, love a review on iTunes, it helps others find us. And don’t forget to subscribe and follow for future episodes.

  • Welcome back everybody. This is the Front Seat Life podcast, and I am Jessica Butts bringing you another episode in the Healing the Hustle series. I know it’s confusing, but it’s what I’m doing at the moment. Today’s episode is a bit of a mess.

I’m talking about how to show up when you are not okay. Because part of our hustle is absolutely people pleasing. Absolutely pretending, like everything’s fine. And I’m not okay today. The cons of doing this in real time, in real life, as I’ve promised to be doing, is that sh*t happens, but the show must go on. I got kicked in the gut and I do believe that I really, really struggled with whether I do the podcast, or I just not do it?

That was option A, just skip a week. Option B, which is not really an option for me was to show up and be fake. To show up and pretend like I don’t have super wonky energy. And that is part of, again, the hustling that we do. This is part of the everything’s fine culture. It’s part of the culture that I’ve calling BS on for 11 years probably. This is just not healthy. It’s not healthy to pretend like everything’s fine.

It’s not healthy for us or for our relationships to show up in an inauthentic way and from our backseats. The backseat is when we’re doing too many things that we suck at, or someone breaks our heart… So, option C was to show up, record the podcast, be true to my commitment, and be authentic. Please listen and I’ll explain what is going on and hopefully what I share will help you if you find yourself in a similar situation, which does seem to happen to us all from time to time.

And remember, I always love hearing from my listeners. Feel free to reach out to me via email and of course I would love, love, love a review on iTunes, it helps others find us. And don’t forget to subscribe and follow for future episodes.

  • I am back with Part 2 of my birthday episode! If you’ve been following along, I started sharing my five favorite personal development tools in the last episode, but due to my love of sharing, I couldn’t get them all into one episode, brevity is not my thing ha! So, I’m back this week to finish it off with the final two pieces of the puzzle.

If you are catching Part 2 and missed Part 1, you may want to go back to catch up. Part 1 was about personality type, obviously, codependency, and attachment. Today for Part 2 I am breaking down the five Love Languages from the amazing book by Gary Chapman. I unpack the five different Love Languages with examples from myself and others and explain why this is a wonderful tool in helping decode what makes your spouse, children, siblings, parents, and anyone close to you feel most loved.

Then I share one of the best decision-making tools that I’ve ever used, Core Values. There are 38 different Core Values (I think) and I have six that are important to me, and that help guide me. I think of Core Values as a bubble, and they surround me and keep me protected from things that are not going to be in alignment with my core values. You can get a list to help you uncover your Core Values over at my site, link below.

I always love hearing from my listeners! Feel free to reach out to me via email and of course I would love, love, love a review on iTunes, it helps others find us. And don’t forget to subscribe and follow for future episodes.

  • I am very excited about today’s episode for a couple of reasons. One, it’s my birthday! I know as we get older, it shouldn’t be such a big deal, but I’ll be 49. I’ve heard people say that when you get past 35, you just continue to feel 35. I absolutely feel that way. I don’t necessarily look like I’m 35 anymore, but I absolutely feel that way. So, I have no idea how I got to be 49 years old, I’m way too immature! I’m just a very playful soul and playful person.

As I have divulged in previous episodes, this Healing the Hustle series is very in the moment real. I am not recording weeks and weeks out. I am literally recording this two days before my birthday, on July 5th, and I’ve been thinking about this episode a lot. It’s going to divert a bit from the Healing the Hustle content, because I was having a conversation recently with somebody in my life. And we were talking about how well we know ourselves. My answer is probably an A- minus, there’s always room for improvement, I don’t believe we’re an A+ plus at anything.

I will be doing personal development and self-improvement for sure until the day I die. I just always believe in forward momentum and thinking into the future and being the best version of ourselves.

So that will always be happening. Today’s episode I’m covering my five favorite personal development tools as a therapist and as just somebody who is adamantly for personal development and for self-improvement. Well, at least this is Part 1 because I love this so much, I couldn’t squeeze it into just one episode. In fact, each of these tools could be an entire episode on their own, or even more.

I could have done 10. I could have done three, but five came to my mind very easily. So, with today’s episode, I want you to be thinking about… How well do you know yourself?

I would love to hear from you. Feel free to reach out to me via email and of course would love a review on iTunes and don’t forget to subscribe and follow for future episodes.

  • Welcome back everybody to the Healing the Hustle series on the Front Seat Life podcast. I’m delighted that you’re back, we’re on episode four. I really have no idea how many episodes there are going to be in this series, I’m just going to keep it rolling.

I do love when the universe continues to give feedback, if you will, that the more that I talk about this, the more that I go back to my roots of personality type and my therapy roots, and really connecting with people and not talking at people again, the universe just continues to reward that with more ideal clients.

The world is eager and excited to start learning about their personality type again. And I’m loving that people are reaching out and they’re engaging, and they want me to come in and speak to their organization or their women’s group or their team.

Now, I know you are dying to know about some of the stuff that I’m going to talk about today. Today’s episode is “I Made a Mistake.” I made a mistake and I’m assuming, everybody’s thinking, oh God, she thinks she made a mistake by moving to Maui. That is not what this episode is about. I did not make a mistake moving here, but I have made a mistake.

I’m not going to spoil it here, you are going to have to listen to the episode to find out! And you should listen to the end, go all the way through this episode. There is some good sh*t. I get on a soapbox at the end. I think the entire episode is wonderful and I hope you learn a lot about why I made a mistake.

I would love to hear from you. Feel free to reach out to me via email and of course would love a review on iTunes and don’t forget to subscribe and follow for future episodes.

  • Welcome back everybody to the Healing the Hustle series on the Front Seat Life podcast. Today is yet another doozy. I was just going to name this episode “overthinking,” but then I realized it’s not that for us, for “J” women, for us controlling, domineering, bossy, overthinking women. Hence the name of this episode.

This is a fun project because I get to be very observant. I am an extremely observant person. It’s one of my favorite things to do. It’s just sit and people watch. And it’s absolutely why I love being a therapist.

And with this episode I’m sharing some observations, some stories about overthinking and trying to control the moment or the experience. I’ve been going through some big changes with my move to Maui and have caught myself trying to control things that are outside of my control, and noticing times when I could overthink things. Hopefully you can relate to these, I have a feeling these might resonate with many of you.

I am enjoying putting these episodes together for you! And I would love to hear from you. Feel free to reach out to me via email and of course would love a review on iTunes and don’t forget to subscribe and follow for future episodes.

  • Welcome back everybody. I am very excited about this episode. I’ll be honest, I’m a tiny bit nervous about this because I’m going to be sharing some really, really, vulnerable stuff. And as I promised, I would super duper, duper keep it real. So here we go….

I wanted to remind you again, I feel like I almost need to do this every episode, the reminder of the whole entire concept of healing the hustle is to cut out things outside of ourselves that are creating chaos. The “hustle journey” I’m sharing is that I want to be talking with you, not at you.

To me is just simple, but it’s this new mindset of intentionally dating myself. Sitting in my own company, I am intentionally taking myself out on a gorgeous date. I am intentionally putting on a beautiful dress and putting on some makeup and getting myself cute. And I am going to heal, to repair this hole in the bottom of my bucket, because nothing outside of myself, no other person, no other man, no friend, nothing outside is going to heal me but myself so that I can be absolutely the most, whole version of myself.

I am beyond excited to be back! And I would love to hear from you. Feel free to reach out to me via email and of course would love a review on iTunes and don’t forget to subscribe and follow for future episodes.

  • Welcome back and thank you so much for being here! It has been many months since I have been able to produce any new content and the return of the podcast today addresses why. Many of you have likely been feeling the same.

As many of you may know I have been trying to finish my third book, Healing the Hustle, for a little of a year now, it is about 70% done, yet it has stalled since I moved to Maui 2 1/2 months ago and I finally realized why….

It is because the journey/story is really just now unfolding! I am in the middle of it!!!!!

So, I have decided to share with you all via my podcast in the most vulnerable, authentic and genuine way possible and talk with you, not at you as I go on this crazy journey of Healing my own Hustle.

In this first episode back, I address:

    – The toxic coaching culture,

    – My reptilian brain response AKA Trauma Response (and explain yours as well) based on your personality type,

    – Why I am coming back to share this crazy journey…
…and much more to hopefully inspire you to look at some of your own Hustle behavior and what to do about it.

I am beyond excited to be back!!!! And I can’t wait to start a dialogue with you about your experiences as well. I would love to hear from you. Feel free to reach out to me via email and of course would love a review on iTunes and don’t forget to subscribe and follow for future episodes.

  • Welcome back to the Front Seat Life podcast, and our new series the Front Seat 16! I am your host Jessica Butts, and today’s episode is all about the ESFJ. I just got done recording the episode with Katie Christiansen and we are doing this episode right after the Sarah Dean episode, which is perfect because Katie is actually a Sara’s assistant and we talk so much about how she is the ideal integrator to the ENFJ visionary.

And the episode is so packed, full of absolutely amazing information. We did her family type. We talked about the integrator and the visionary, and expectations and how they become a martyr. It is an incredible, incredible episode. It might be my favorite of the series so far.

Overall ESFJ’s are the Caregiver. They are generous and giving and organized and detailed, their archetype is the Police. They are the support staff, if you will. They have no desire to be the upfront person. Their Drunk Uncle is actually the Intuitive. So that kind of big picture and entrepreneurial and starting their own business is absolutely their backseat. Katie, and most ESFJ’s absolutely love being the Caretaker.

They love that role in their family and their life. And they are absolutely the perfect, perfect assistant and integrator for the visionary. I really hope you enjoy this episode. And I loved it and I think you will too!

    Much love, Jessica

  • Welcome back to the Front Seat 16, our new series from the Front Seat Life podcast! I am your host Jessica Butts, and today Sara Dean joins me for probably my favorite episode of the series to talk about ENFJ! Why’s it my favorite? Because it’s my type too, haha! Sara is a dear friend, a podcasting genius, and the creator and host of The Shameless Mom Podcast.

Overall ENFJs are extroverted, intuitive, feeling and judging which means they give their best selves to other people. They are big picture thinkers. They think outside the box, they’re always thinking about what’s next. It makes them great entrepreneurs. They are feelers, meaning they make decisions with their hearts and they are Js, which means they’re normally pretty obsessive, highly organized, like to be on time, they are planners, and futuristic.

And they pretty much have the horse blinders on, like, “Get out of my way, don’t distract me, this is where I’m going.” The ENFJs and the ENFPs are interesting because they’re very similar, but their front seats are different.

An ENFJ is out in the world, giving, sharing, connecting in life and in business, right? We normally have a lot of friends. We have a lot of activities going on. People might think we’re very social and, and extroverted and outgoing, which is true. But not the other half of us, the other 50% of us is inside in our hearts.

In our mind, being intuitive, walking in silence, thinking in silence, journaling, having a morning practice, getting away by ourselves, taking solo trips, a weekend retreats by ourself, all a whole bunch of alone. And that my friends is where ENFJs get their ideas.

Listen in to this episode to learn all about ENFJs, I’m sure you know some! Sara and I share some great stories and examples of life interactions where our type resonate, and where it clashes. I hope you enjoy today’s episode. You are going to love this wonderful conversation!

    Much love, Jessica

  • Welcome back to the Front Seat 16, our new series from the Front Seat Life podcast! I am your host Jessica Butts, and today Gina and Rae join me as our ENFPs! Gina and I went to graduate school together and we both decided to transition from therapy to coaching because of the constrictions placed upon us, they just didn’t jive with our types. These two have learned that living and being in a relationship with someone who is the same type can have some amazing benefits. There are still a few challenges, but Gina and Rae seem to have figured out how to love and thrive with each other.

ENFP is probably my favorite type, and for years I wanted to be an ENFP and I would take the assessment over and over again. And I would come out in ENFP, which is gotta be hilarious to everybody who knows me, because I’m a super “J”, I’m very controlling, very organized, very long-term vision.

But I love ENFPs and so I would skew it to be what I thought I wanted to be because they are very raw, very loving, and open, and compassionate. They’re kind of named the “cheerleader.” They are enthusiastic. They have a lot of charisma. People love them. They are very fly by the seat of their pants, and go with the flow.

I feel like they’ve just got life figured out, but they just are so just spontaneous and enjoyable to be around. You want to be around them. They’re those kinds of people because they have this really beautiful energy. They are giving their best selves to other people.

They are great visionaries of the business. Absolutely horrible integrators. It is probably the worst part of them is getting shit done. They are absolutely not good integrators.

They are the visionaries, the Walt Disney’s of the world. They are the people who are thinking outside the box and then they must, must, must have somebody, a right-hand person to help them get all of those ideas done. Otherwise I’m very, honestly, they will never get them. They will never get them done if they do not have somebody to help them implement all of their ideas.

I hope you enjoy today’s episode. Gina and Rae are just a gift to the universe as individuals, but especially as a couple.

They are really open about their life and how wonderful it is and the things that as a couple, they struggle with, like not getting things done. You gotta listen to this wonderful conversation!

    Cheers, Jessica

  • Welcome back to the Front Seat 16, our new series from the Front Seat Life podcast! I am your host Jessica Butts, and today Karen Rosenzweig joins me as my official ESTJ. Karen is one of my favorite people ever. She is a total go-getter, and an incredibly awesome human being. But before we get started in all of these episodes of all of the 16 types, I want to go over five main things, which is more the Front Seat Life methodology before we jump into our guests.

So those five things are who an ESTJ is overall, their Front Seat, their backseat, their archetype (my made up intellectual property), and then a really great career for each type.

Meyers-Briggs calls an ESTJ “The Guardian.” I would lovingly possibly call them “The Controllers” because ESTJs are extroverted, sensing, thinking and judging, which means they’re extroverted out in the world and they are very logical detail oriented. They make decisions with their head and they’re very organized, structured on time. They like things a certain way. They don’t have a lot of emotional regulation, they’re not super into emotions.

I break all of this down before we hop into my conversation with Karen who has been an entrepreneur for 15 years and runs One Smart Cookie Marketing. Her type is my Mom’s type, so I know her type extremely well! Karen is kind enough to open up about her challenges and how she also excels because her type. And we also dive into how she and her wife, who is the exact opposite type, connect and manage to accept each other for who they are.

It’s another wonderful and beautiful conversation where we get to unpack a lot and I’m sure many of you will be able to relate on many levels. I hope this is helpful and interesting to you. Please listen to this fantastic episode with Karen Rosensweig.

And stay tuned for more powerful episodes in this series, I’m so excited to bring it to you!

  • Welcome back to the Front Seat 16, our new series from the Front Seat Life podcast! I am your host Jessica Butts, and today we’ve got Courtney Anderson as my official ENTJ. It was a very simple choice for me when I was starting all of the Front Seat 16 interviews, it was very obvious to me that Courtney would be my ENTJ. Courtney is a former client and I would consider her a friend now, one who is super wicked smart.

As an ENTJ Courtney is sassy and says what’s on her mind. I think we’re probably like sisters from another mother, we’re super similar, and she has been an amazing student. She’s now a coach herself and she’s got a thriving business.

True to form, Counrtney breaks out her sassy side and tells us how life is when you are A Thinking Woman. She starts with some amazing stories when she was just eight years old and had a realization she wasn’t quite like everyone else, and didn’t care. The stories continue and she reveals some incredible tales I had never heard before. Truly mind-blowing, but on point for an ENTJ.

We unpack so many powerful concepts in this conversation, and if you are feeling like you are living an incongruent life right now, this may resonate. It may be a huge eye-opener and I encourage everyone to listen in, it’s a good one.

I certainly feel that there are people who will listen to this episode, and you may be one of them, maybe you hear yourself in Courtney. And that is validating. It is normalizing. And it’s so good for you to know that you’re not alone. You’re unique and that’s perfectly okay.

And stay tuned for more powerful episodes in this series, I’m so excited to bring it to you!

  • Hello! And welcome back to the Front Seat Life podcast and our new series, the Front Seat 16! I am your host Jessica Butts, and I am here to help you be unapologetically, who you are in your life, love and business, by understanding and embracing your innate personality type.

Most of you know, I am all about NOT doing stuff that you suck at and absolutely leaning into your Front Seat.

And that is what we’re going to be talking about in this podcast. For those of you who don’t know me, CEO and creator of Front Seat Life. I am a Myers-Briggs expert. I’m a life and business coach for intuitive women, author, keynote speaker, obviously a podcaster, and a former couples therapist and psychotherapist.

I’m an ENFJ, truth-teller, F-bomb dropper, and lover of all things. And fiercely dedicated to helping you be unapologetically who you are.

I am so excited to take you on this new series called Front Seat 16! And that means we are going to do a deep dive into all 16 Myers-Briggs types, as well as the Front Seat methodology behind every single one of the types. So it’ll be a 16 week series. I have guests every single week coming on, talking to you about some of their front seat, some of their backseat (that is what they’re terrible at) and everything in between.

To kick of the series I am chatting with the wonderful Rachel Belle. We dive deep into her type and break it all down. It’s a great conversation with a lot of “a-ha” moments which I’m sure you can get something from, be sure and listen to this one!

And stay tuned for more episodes in this series, I’m so excited to bring it to you!

  • Wooooooooo, it has been quite a ride the past 10 years since graduating Graduate School in June of 2011!

In today’s podcast I share 6 1/2 lessons (I had 6 but of course had another little one that popped into my head while riffing) I have learned in the last 10 years of entrepreneurship.

    1) Simple is better…more is NOT better. Do one thing super awesome.

    2) Know your type and do it YOUR way!

    3) Don’t try to keep up with the entrepreneurial Jones!

    4) PROFIT FIRST! It is YOUR money…keep more of it!

4.5) Have multiple streams of revenue.

    5) Reassess at LEAST once a year. There are no mistakes, only information! Do only what you love doing!

    6) Take breaks! Lots of them. And learn how to compartmentalize!

The season is over so I am taking a break from the podcast until September but I cannot wait to be back with you then for a VERY special and exciting series….The Front Seat 16!

Make sure to get on my list and/or follow me on Instagram (@frontseatlife) over the summer for much more Healing the Hustle content.

    Much love, Jessica
