Our bedroom was small and narrow, and the door was about six feet from the end of our queen-sized bed. The noise was thunderous, three knocks, rapid and loud. Bang, bang, bang!
‘Did you hear that?’ I said, ‘Yep,’ Brian responded – his voice weird and bored. I had a moment of surprise and sat straight up in bed. Then it happened again. Bang, bang, bang! This time, I got up immediately and walked quickly to the door, figuring that one of the three kids, probably my seven-year-old daughter, was scared and needed me. I opened it and started to speak, then stopped when I saw no one was there. I stared into a large, well-lit open area that was completely empty. I could see the stairs ... also empty. My lizard brain hissed softly. ‘Run’ it said.

On the 15th of September 2024, I attended a ghost hunt at the location of this shows very first episode way back in June 2021. That location was of course, Dudley Castle. Since an early age, I’d had a healthy interest in castles, and knowing that one with such great historical significance was just a short drive away from not only where I grew up, but also where I live now, always seemed surreal.
But throughout my early years, I never really thought of Dudley Castle as a place where ghosts or the spirits of the dead, would haunt…but how wrong I was. Every now and then, an article would appear in a local newspaper, or a story would be heard on radio, retold by either the presenter or news reader, or if you were lucky, by the witness themselves.
Was I about to finally witness...something paranormal???

It’s the morning after the night of 14th of November 1940, Coventry, England – a night seared and synonymous with terror. Walking through the rubble of Coventry Cathedral, stonemason Jack Forbes surveyed the landscape with utter disbelief. Fearing the shock was yet to catch up with him, he walked further forward – with ringing in his ears no doubt from the night before, it was there amid the smoke, the putrid air – bitter with shrapnel and burnt timber from fourteenth-century frames that used to so proudly hold Coventry city up – he saw something rather eerie and unexpected …

‘I was standing there looking at the house when all of a sudden, a couple of books came flying across and hit the window. It was so sudden. I heard the noise because it was so quiet, there was no traffic, and it made me jump. Then after a little while, I saw … Janet. I don’t know if there’s a bed underneath that window, but she was going up and down … in a horizontal position, like as if someone had got hold of her legs and back and was throwing her up and down’. ‘On Thursday 1st September 1977 at approximately 1 a.m., I was on duty in my capacity as a policewoman, when I received a radio message to 284 Green Street, Enfield. I went to this address where I found a number of people standing in the living room. Short Haunts – Does Darkness Follow?
Is it possible for a person to actually manifest paranormal activity into our dimension, giving spirits or entities the energy they require to break through that thin veil into the world that we share?

Our last 'From The Vault' episode before Season 6 launches on Friday 6th September.
‘Making sure their parents were asleep, the two 17-year-olds quietly left their homes with their tent, sleeping bags and other bits and pieces, and drove to a secluded spot. At around midnight, they'd found the perfect place to camp, so began pitching their tent and getting comfortable. It wasn't long after this that they both thought they heard something moving around in close proximity to their tent … They kept still and quiet, and continued to listen, but this was when the sounds of movement changed into the sounds of very definite footsteps ... there was someone in the forest with them.’

'Tis the season to be jolly.....and also the season to tell spooky stories, and the cases of the missing 411 are definitely creepy.In America, tens of thousands of people go to national parks to enjoy the scenery, wildlife and the awesome experience of being in the presence of amazing natural beauty.
But over the course of over 100 years, many people have simply vanished into thin air whilst visiting these beautiful tourist attractions. Only a handful of bodies have ever been found, and those have some very disturbing and strange facts connected to their discoveries. So with the Christmas holidays upon us, lets delve into some of the strange cases of the missing 411.
