I think we need to erase the narrative that men have to be this manly macho figure in our lives who carry no emotion. That is wrong and not what the world needs. We need to all be treated like equals who are allowed to feel any and every emotion. Regardless of your gender.

It’s like stage fright but with grief. Not knowing what to say or how to act around something who just lost someone they love. Even if you know what loss feels like it’s still hard.

Such a cliche but it’s true. Make the time for you. Even if it’s the smallest thing.

Change is so important within Grief and mental illness. In order to heal yourself from whatever you’re struggling with you need to be willing to change. Small changes lead up to a big difference.

We’ve been surrounded by darkness for just about two years. I think going into 2022 we should bring more light. Less toxic positivity and more compassion.
