Weāre in shock.
Jenn Tranās Bachelorette story comes to a horrifying ending in the season finale, and we are devastated and frankly livid with this franchise. In this Bachelorette recap, we review the season finale where we learn Jenn and Devinās engagement came to a near-immediate end shortly after filming ended and then see a disgustingly cruel After the Final Rose live finale where Jenn is made to watch her proposal to Devin for the first time on stage with him setting next to her. This show failed Jenn in so many ways.
We are absolutely aghast that this season ā which we had been so excited and hopeful about, which loudly promoted Jenn as their first Asian American lead and promised us an incredible love story with her as the main character ā ended in such a horrific way. We unpack that horrible ATFR segment, what happened between Jenn and Devin (and why we werenāt surprised by his swerve), as well as takeaways from the Jenn and Marcus breakup (because weāve known men like Marcus).

Usually hometowns is a big olā nothing-burger, but Jennās hometowns with Devin, Jeremy, Jonathon, and Marcus actually raised many new questions and concerns about her final four men and the relationships she has with each of them. Devin says I love you to Jenn, but the rest of the men seem to be way far behind in terms of their feelings for her.
