Meredith Allen has a passion for helping her community through policies that allow freedom and liberty to flourish. This passion lead her to obtain internships in both the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate. Raised in rural North Carolina, Meredith attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she studied Peace, War and Defense and Political Science. Meredith currently works for the National Republican Congressional Committee Independent Expenditure Unit as a Media Assistant.

Annie Vellon is a junior at the University of Denver studying business analytics. She recently completed an internship with Handshakin Video Series, a local startup that interviews entrepreneurs on mentoring, networking and personal branding strategies. After graduation, Annie hopes to continue working for startups in the technology field.

Christopher Collins is a native of Buffalo, New York. He attended St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute, receiving the Eric Bredenburg Memorial Award for Excellence in Digital Arts upon graduating in 2010. Collins then attended Canisius College, and interned at several places including Boston-based streetwear retailer Karmaloop.com, as well as Travers Collins Co. He finished with a BA with a degree in Digital Media Arts in 2014, and began working as a seasonal graphic designer for the Buffalo Bills. Collins then moved to the Bay Area upon receiving an internship with the San Francisco 49ers.

In the business of understanding and working with people. Alejandra is pursuing a career in the Public Policy and Marketing industries. She is an international student (Class of 2016) from Managua, Nicaragua, majoring in Business Administration with concentrations in Marketing and Economics and a minor in Anthropology. Alejandra has experience coordinating large-scale events and has been interning for the International Monetary Fund (IMF) for the past year, where she has assisted a team of dedicated people in organizing the Spring Meetings. She also has experience drafting marketing campaigns and working with multiple social media platforms. She currently interns for Capitol Standard, an online magazine geared towards young professionals, and worked at PepsiCo in her home country of Nicaragua where she was able to apply some of her skills as part of a marketing team. Alejandra also acts as a Teaching Assistant for a Career Management Strategy class at the George Washington University School of Business. In her spare time she enjoys writing about herself in the third person and going on extreme adventures like skydiving, glacier hiking and sand-dune surfing.

Madeleine works part-time for AFS in both their Austin Studios location and their Austin Public Access location. She interns for screenings, answer phones, runs errands, and performs basic office duties. She also had the opportunity to participate in the 2016 Texas Film Awards, where she served as "Event Concierge Captain," managing fifteen volunteers during the event. Madeleine is a recent graduate of University of North Texas.

He has has an impressive list of internship experience including Jewel Osco, Spartan Nash and the Marketing Department and Western Michigan. Recently, he accepted an offer to intern with S.C. Johnson for the summer. S.C. Johnson has approximately $7.5 billion in sales with brands that include Shout, Windex, and Ziploc.

Megan Spinelli is a recent graduate of Montclair State University, and she has an impressive resume of internship experiences all culminating in her most recent internship with ABC News. ABC News is one of the most competitive internships for media and journalism students, as several thousand students apply every year. It is rightfully competitive, as they do not treat you like an intern. As an intern at ABC News you get to live life as an actual reporter. Megan was live on the ground helping cover the San Bernadino shooting trying to report in the midst of all the chaos and breaking news.
