This EP features Anthony Findlay. Anthony has owned Level 10 Fitness in North Vancouver since 1997. The company grew from 1 employee to 20, and now it supports 50 practitioners, including physios, osteopaths, counselors, and independent strength and conditioning coaches.
Anthony has been working with Canada Snowboard for what is now his 5th Olympic cycle. He has further worked with the Men's and Women's Wrestling Teams, the Triathlon Team, the Track Cycling Team, Whitewater/Flatwater, Ski Pipe, Rhythmic Gymnastics, Sailing, TKD, Jr Tennis Canada, Women's Field Hockey, and many individuals in several other National/Olympic Teams. He’s also worked with many athletes in MLB, NFL, CFL, extreme sports, and ultra-endurance athletes.
More importantly, he's been married for 26 years to Alix, his high school sweetheart. They have two grown boys, Graydon and Jackson.

This EP features Sean Donellan. Sean has been in the fitness, performance, and rehabilitation field for over 35 years. He was the NHL’s first Director of Sports Performance, for the New York Islanders. Where using a medical model he assembled and oversaw all aspects of the sports performance department from 2011-2024.
This period was his second stint with the team as he served as the Assistant Athletic Trainer and then Strength and Conditioning Coach from 1996-2003. After leaving the team in 2003 Sean moved back to his native New Jersey and worked in the commercial sports performance industry, most notably as the Director of Sports Performance for Velocity Sports Performance in Mahwah NJ from 2005-2011.
He then founded Donellan Sports Performance where he specialized in training elite athletes at different facilities throughout the North Jersey areaAside from his 20 seasons in the NHL, Sean has been fortunate to work with a wide range of exceptional athletes during the course of his career including athletes from the NFL, MLB, MLS, and NCAA.

This episode features Kyle Bolton. Kyle is currently the Director of Speed and Performance for University of Oregon Football. His primary role within the program is to direct and facilitate all aspects of speed development, conditioning, athletic development, and load management.
Previously Kyle was with the TCU Horned Frogs’ staff as an Associate Director of Football Human Performance. The Horned Frogs went undefeated in the regular season and became the first team from the Big 12 to win a College Football Playoff game and play for a National Championship.
Prior to working at TCU, Kyle spent a year as an assistant athletic performance coach at the University of California, Berkeley, and was the Director of athletic performance operations at Arkansas State University from 2019 to 2021.
Bolton was an assistant athletics performance coach on the athletic performance staff at Baylor University from 2015 to 2016, working with football, track and field, and softball.
Kyle was a standout wide receiver at Baker University. After graduating, he had a short stint with the Minnesota Vikings in the NFL, followed by a season in the CFL with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and a season in the AFL with the LA Kiss.
A native of Oceanside, California, Kyle and his wife Paige now reside in the Fort Worth area.

Before his NHL journey began, Kevin was the director of a private sports performance facility in New Jersey working with pro, college, junior, and elite-level youth hockey players. He’s also been a strength and conditioning coach with the U.S. Women’s Olympic Ice Hockey Team.
Kevin recently completed his PhD in human and sports performance, and his research focused on the relationship between workload and performance in elite hockey. He’s published several articles in peer-reviewed journals and has authored 2 books Ultimate Hockey Training and Speed Training for Hockey.

This EP features Julia Casadio a sports physiologist, applied researcher, and performance consultant with 15+ years’ of experience working in elite sports. Originally from Canada, where she grew up cross-country ski racing at a competitive level, she is now based in New Zealand with her husband and two children.
She has worked with High Performance Sport New Zealand for over a decade with involvement in numerous Olympic medal-winning sports. Her PhD examined novel applications of heat training to enhance performance in elite athletes, and she led the New Zealand heat strategies for both the Rio and Tokyo Olympics.
In 2022, Julia founded Impact Factor, an online physiology consultancy service for high-performance athletes. Julia’s latest venture, Her Strength, is an online learning platform aimed at supporting coaches of adolescent female athletes, offering insights into the physical changes of puberty and strategies to enhance training, recovery, and nutrition. The course will launch in the Fall of 2024 (Northern Hemisphere) or Spring 2024 (Southern Hemisphere).

This Episode features Kevin Kirsch. Kevin is an educator, sports performance coach, physical therapist, and the co-owner of The Athlete’s Edge Rehab and Performance. An athlete all his life, Kevin played multiple sports growing up and ultimately was able to play collegiate soccer at the Division 1 Level for Saint Joseph’s University.
After college, he obtained his Doctorate of Physical Therapy. While in graduate school, he worked as a personal trainer and coach at a local Crossfit gym and competed at the Mid Atlantic CrossFit Regionals in 2012. Kevin went on to compete in multiple olympic lifting and powerlifting meets in addition to some amateur strongman competitions.
He has since transitioned his focus to helping other individuals achieve their goals. Kevin has been privileged to work with a variety of athletes competing at the state and national levels. His goal is to help each client realize their individual potential by providing proper education, enhancing movement capacity, and instilling the right mindset on how to address injury and pain. It is his sincere belief that establishing a proper foundation of movement allows everyone to maximize their ability to enjoy life.
Kevin spent his first 8 years in practice in Boulder, Colorado, where he founded Blue Door Physical Therapy and Performance. He and his wife, Erica, and their daughter, Zoe, recently moved back to New Jersey and are excited to give back to the communities where they grew up.

In this EP I decided to talk alone about an important subject to me, mentorship. Informal and formal mentorship can shape the experiences of your life. If it's done well, it challenges you to self-reflect and grow.
A good mentor will not only give you advice but will challenge you to understand why you want to do what you want to do in the first place. Making decisions is the easy part of life, understanding why you want to go one direction or the other is the hard part. We are not encouraged to look inside ourselves early enough in life. Instead, we are encouraged to follow the protocols of life, the directions acknowledged and advised by society at large. This leads inevitably to the mid-life crisis, the burnout, or the sense of disappointment that is often medicated by all the vices of life that become the insulation for the fear and pain of our circumstances.
It doesn't need to be this way, you can begin to find a quality internal compass much earlier in life that will allow you to follow a path you own and believe in, one that creates real fulfillment and joy. Andrew has worked in a variety of roles in his 14 years of experience as an athletic trainer and strength coach in professional baseball, with his most recent role being the Director of Performance Rehab with the Los Angeles Dodgers during which time he was a part of their 2020 World Series team.
Andrew's passions lie in both the strength and medical aspects of sports, but also in professional development and education. Before moving to L.A., he served as the Director of Health & Performance for the Atlanta Braves where he oversaw medical and strength staff and was able to integrate departments both in the Major League and Minor Leagues all while continuing to develop and refine his and his colleagues' skills.
Andrew's experience in sports extends beyond baseball. He has worked with several professional athletes in the NFL, MLB, NHL, NBA, MMA, MLS, and track/field and has become a sought-after consultant, educator, and public speaker for professionals, teams, and athletes.

Brandee treats a wide range of patients with musculoskeletal issues, including collegiate and professional athletes, while being featured as a presenter at national conferences and international venues.
She has worked as a team physician with Team U.S.A. Track & Field, the NBA and WNBA, the Sacramento Ballet, and has been the medical director for the World’s Strongest Man Championship event.
She serves as the physician leader for the Sacramento Republic FC professional soccer team and UC Davis intercollegiate athletics.
A California native Brandee enjoys swimming, hiking, snowboarding, and most outdoor activities. She thinks she may be the only Professor in a US medical school who has the distinction of having danced on the TV show “Soul Train.” A lot of wisdom in this session, enjoy!

This EP features Geralyn Coopersmith. Geralyn has 30 years of experience creating cutting-edge programs and leading teams for best-in-class wellness brands. Geralyn was a full-time personal trainer and group exercise instructor based in New York City and The Hamptons for the first decade of her career.
In 2004, she took a corporate role with Equinox that evolved into being the head of the Equinox Fitness Training Institute (EFTI). In that position, she was responsible for training and educating all personal trainers and coaches across the portfolio. During her ten years at Equinox, Geralyn created numerous new service offerings, designed curricula for five levels of fitness professionals, and founded the Equinox Academy, a trade school for aspiring personal trainers.
Since her tenure at Equinox Geralyn has held senior leadership roles at Nike, EXOS, Flywheel Sports, Forme Life, and most recently Weight Watchers. Her experiences have spanned learning and development, operations, marketing, digital product creation, service design, quality assurance, and talent management.

Stefania Rizzo. Stef is a physiotherapist currently working with the Brooklyn Nets. She’s been in practice for 23 years.
Before working with the Nets she worked one year with the Buffalo Sabres. She had been working at Fortius Health and Sport and was one of the first three physiotherapists to help set up this incredible performance center in Burnaby, BC. She has a great deal of sports experience and has done two Olympic cycles as a physiotherapist with Alpine Canada.

Born and raised in North Vancouver, Canada, Carl previously held positions in the private space, as well as with the Vancouver Whitecaps, Vancouver Canucks, and Canadian women’s national team for soccer. More recently, he was the Director of Performance for the Golden State Warriors.
His area of interest and expertise focuses on global performance planning, strength and conditioning, and human movement and performance. Most importantly, he is married and the father of three children. Lots to unpack in this session, enjoy!
