In 2017, Chris Meyers killed it on the Mid-States Poker Tour (MSPT), especially at FireKeepers Casino in Battle Creek, Michigan. It was there the Buffalo, New York native finished 5th out of 1,066 entries and then won in a field of 1,067 entries, both Michigan records for largest poker tournaments held in the state.
