Today I was so blessed to have a conversation with my beautiful friend Ashley Hopper who, of course, I met on TikTok! Ashley is ON FIRE for the Lord but it hasn't always been that way. After years of unhealthy relationships and behaviors that drove her into darkness, she was saved and now can't stop sharing her love of Jesus with the world.
I hope Ashley's story encourages you that no matter what you struggle with or what weaknesses you have, the Lord can use ALL of it for good and completely transform your life!

Today I'm talking about a few things we need to think about as we navigate relationships with other people, specifically our brothers and sisters in Christ. I see a ridiculous amount of division in this space, and while it makes sense to a degree because it's where the enemy interjects the most, we still need to be alert and reflect on how we can work on posturing our heart for unity instead of division.

Today's episode is just a very candid conversation about my struggle with depression and mental health. No intro or outro today. Very little editing. I don't have a ton of energy but I wanted to show up!
Since I did record this originally as a video the sound quality might not be great. I would suggest checking out the video if you can! The video will play if you listen on Spotify..if not you can check it out on my YouTube channel here

TW: I am talking a little bit more about Roe v. Wade in this one but it's not the main theme; only the trigger for a bigger issue I've been extremely passionate about for years...our inability to address things beyond the surface.
Our world (managed by the enemy) celebrates appearance and discourages deep relationships with our spiritual selves and with other people. It thrives off of making it look like we are succeeding by keeping us focused on the surface. We put bandaids on everything, with no interest in figuring out where the wound even came from.
I don’t think Jesus dealt in bandaids, do you? When He healed someone..He capital H healed them. And when He knew He wouldn’t be around to do it anymore He asked us to do it…In His name of course. I certainly don’t believe He would celebrate anything less.
Slapping a bandaid on a gaping wound is useless…and that carelessness, without fail, will always lead to worse consequences.
We need to start being mindful of this<3

Well I didn’t really want to go here but conviction calls!
Today I’m chiming in on Roe vs Wade and what has been grieving my heart about the whole thing. This isn’t an effort to convince anyone of a particular belief, but to share some perspective from a girl who struggled tremendously not to feel controlled or unsafe in the world before I knew Jesus, especially around men.
We need to remember that we are all human, and during times like this our goal should be unity and compassion, not pride and polarization. We should be speaking into the hearts of others, not to their opinions.
I hope if you have been feeling burdened by all of this or like religion is trying to force itself on you, listening to this episode will encourage you and make you feel a little less alone. Please know that I, and Jesus, love you so much!

The middle is hard. Those waiting seasons are HARD. I'm in one right now and while in the past I would have done everything I could to escape my emotions and figure it out on my own, now I realize how important it is to be brave and let this season be difficult. I know now how beautiful the blessing is on the other side of the discomfort that happens when God wants to prune us.
If you are in a season like this please know you are not alone. I hope this encourages you to keep pushing through. I have faith that there is something amazing waiting for you on the other side!

Happy June! I'm so happy to be back :)
In today's episode I'm talking about sacrifice and service, and how important it is that we start DOING something about the issues in the world that we grieve rather than just argue about them.
I hope this encourages you to see the responsibility we have to make a difference in this broken world a little differently. You have more power than you think!

Today I'm talking about something that I am so passionate about, and it is the importance of making a commitment to healing so that we can love others well and have a healthier life and healthier relationships. This has been an important topic to me since I started coaching back in 2016, but I believe it's even more crucial now that I understand what the Great Commission has called us to do. It isn't our works that get us into heaven, but it is our obedience to serve that helps others see and accept Jesus.
I hope this encourages you in your faith and your purpose!
