    In this episode, we continue our deep dive into overcoming mom guilt and creating time for self-care. This week, we're focusing on fitness—a priority that often gets pushed to the bottom of our to-do lists. If you’ve ever told yourself you don’t have the time or energy for exercise, you’re not alone. I’ve been guilty of it, too. But today’s quote, “Your body can do it, it’s time to convince your mind,” is a powerful reminder that the real challenge isn’t your schedule—it’s your mindset.

    Join me as I share tips on how to shift your perspective and start fitting fitness into your life, even if it’s just for 10 minutes a day. I’ll discuss the importance of letting go of perfection, acknowledging mom guilt, and focusing on what you can do.

    💖 My challenge for you this week mamas is… Work on convincing your mind that you CAN do it. Commit to a micro-goal. Start with something small but consistent and spend some time visualizing your success… like fitting into those jeans again!

    In today’s episode, we’re diving into a topic that resonates deeply with many of us—caring too much about what others think. As working moms, it's easy to fall into the trap of worrying about how we're perceived, whether it’s how we parent, manage our careers, or balance it all. But here’s a truth bomb: most people aren’t thinking about you nearly as much as you think they are. Eleanor Roosevelt said it best "You wouldn't worry so much about what others think of you if you realized how seldom they do."

    💖 My challenge for this week mamas is to take some to reflect on a time where you let the worry of what other people might think affect how you did something or how you showed up as a mom, a wife a friend, a time where you were not true to yourself because you allowed the worry of other’s people’s judgement to affect your actions and then think about what you could do differently next time. And start taking the next steps to gaining confidence in yourself, in your values, and in your decision making because you got this and those people in your head truly don’t matter! The only thing that matters is you!

Transitions are hard, especially when us moms are really the ones at the reigns and helping our family navigate as seamlessly as they can. We take on a lot as working moms and we all just want to do our best and some of us set those expectations way too high so this week I wanted to share a quote for those mamas that are sometimes too hard on themselves. “You don’t have to be perfect to be amazing.”

    💖 My challenge for this week mamas is to practice self-compassion and let go of the need to be perfect. Each day, take a few minutes to acknowledge and celebrate something you did well, no matter how small. If you find yourself criticizing your efforts, pause and reframe your thoughts to focus on your accomplishments.

That’s right, we’re talking about the beautiful, messy, wonderful partnership you share with the person you chose to spend your life with and how to nurture and strengthen your relationship!

    💖 So my challenge for you this week, is to plan a date night. Go to your calendar right now, find a time when you can do something just 1:1 with other, get a babysitter, ask a mom friend if you have to, offer to watch their kids one night so they can do the same thing and just plan something fun for you and your partner. If going out isn’t an option then get creative and plan something in your home for when the kids are in bed and you don’t have disruptions.

    This week we are focusing on your never ending to-do list. Your to-list doesn’t have to be overwhelming! Learning how to organize your to-do list can be a serious game changer and can really make you more efficient with your time and more productive in your week. This week’s we are breaking down Pareto’s Theory and how you can use it as a working mom and we’re starting with this quote “80% of our results come from just 20% of our effort.”

    💖 So my challenge for you this week, mamas is to apply the 80 20 rule to your to-do list. So you're going to take a look at your to-do list. Highlight that top 20% of tasks that will drive 80% of your desired results. You're going to prioritize these tasks and dedicate focus time blocks in your week. To tackle them. Hopefully you're doing your weekly planning because that's where this process comes in. See, if you can delegate or postpone the rest of it, and at the end of the week, really reflect on how this little shift in focus affects your productivity and your stress levels..
