    This season, we talk to the actors who brought the characters from Eiichiro Oda's One Piece to life. Each week we talk to these amazingly talented individuals from across the world, and peer into what it was like to step into their role.
    Interview
    This week, we have Aiden Scott, the actor who plays Helmeppo in One Piece. Aidan Scott is an actor from Cape Town who has since worked in both the film and theatre industry in South Africa and the UK. He is also known for his roles in Action Point, Theodore Roosevelt, Abraham Lincoln, and The Power.

    This week, we have Amanda Ross McDonald, hair and make-up designer for One Piece. After studying theatre, Amanda fell into the film industry at the age of 20. After apprenticing in several designations on a local drama, Amanda settled into hair and make up. Amanda thrives on running a team, and keeping her make up ship running harmoniously as well as in a very organized manner. She has previously worked on Outlander, Black Sails, Blood Diamond and many other projects!

    This week, we have Marc Jobst, director and executive producer for One Piece, and a director on six additional Netflix series, including Luke Cage.     This week, we have an interview Tomorrow Studios’ Senior VP for Development, and One Piece co-executive producer, Nic Louie! Mr. Louie has been a part of the Tomorrow Studios development team since its launch in 2014, and he has worked with mentors Marty Adelstein (CEO, Tomorrow Studios) and Becky Clements (President, Tomorrow Studios) for nearly ten years. Louie started his career at Gotham Group, a leading literary management company, where he learned the ins-and-outs of film, tv, animation, and publishing. A native of Los Angeles, born-and-raised, whose parents immigrated from Hong Kong, Louie graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a degree in business. When not working, he can often be found playing video games or binging anime.

    This week, we have an interview showrunner and executive producer Steven Maeda! Mr. Maeda was previously an executive producer and writer on Lost, Day Break, Helix, and many more. We discuss the challenges and rewards behind the creation of Netflix’s One Piece, thoughts on the Straw Hat Crew, his experience with the manga, and the reasoning behind many of the adaptations to the live action series.
