Those big dreams you have are yours to bring to life. Not the guru look up to and think that kind of special is reserved for. Not the superstars of the world. Not the influencers with 1m followers.. You. You are the magic!
Your life experiences and unique gifts more than qualify you to bring them to life.
The reason why we have the visions or nudges or inspirations or dreams or whatever you wanna call it is because we’re the ones to bring that magic to life!
I speak about this and what we can do to move forward on these dreams on today’s episode.

"Fearlessness means taking the first step even if you don't know where it will take you.It means being driven by a higher purpose rather than by applause. It means knowing that you reveal your character when you stand apart, more than when you stand with the crowd." - Chadwick Boseman
What is between you and that thing you dream of starting and keep thinking you have no place dreaming of, that goal you have no idea how to achieve or even where to start, that impact you dream of one day making in the world, is a series of small steps. All it takes is one small courageous action everyday. That's what Chadwick did, and that's what you can do too. Sometimes, the enormity of a dream makes it seem impossible to achieve, and so we don't even start. It is possible and it is never too late. It doesn't matter where or when you start, or even how many times you fall. What's more important is that you keep going. You've got this!

I share the final 5 tips on what to do when fear gets in the way in this episode.
One of the tips I share in this episode is to release the notion that we have control over anything. Often times, we don't go into things because we don't know if we're going to be able to control the outcome. Basically because we can't guarantee that we'll succeed at it. The truth is that it's all an illusion and we're never really in control of anything.
Happy listening! :)

Sometimes fear is an indication that there's something amazing right on the other side of the fear. Unfortunately, we don't even let that amazing thing see the light of day before we let the fear squelch it.
One of the 5 tips I cover in this third episode of the Fear series is to lean into the fear and take it as a sign rather than run from it, and to take small actionable steps towards the thing that causes the fear as this does wonders in dissipating the fear and boosting confidence.

The podcast is going to be centred around a theme this month and the theme for the month of August is: What to do when fear gets in the way.
In the second episode for this series, I get into 5 more ways to deal with fear when it shows up and gets in the way of you achieving anything.
Have you ever gotten an idea to start something, gotten all fired up and then got assailed by the 101 reasons why you shouldn’t AKA fear?
Most times this happens, we cave and utter words like: “I don’t know how”, “that’s just the way it is”, “I can’t”... and just like that, our million dollar ideas go down the drain of history never even seeing the light of day.
What if I told you, that like anything else, you can learn how to handle fear so it doesn’t get in the way of your hopes and dreams? Yuppp! You bet it’s learnable 😊
Enjoy!! 😊

"When your why is bigger than you, you don't get swayed easily."
We sometimes forget the most important ingredient in our start over journey - our why. It's very easy for us to lose focus when our intention or reason behind starting a thing isn't clear.
In this episode, I cover 6 reasons why you should start anything with why and why that reason should be bigger than you.

“Nothing in life has any meaning except the meaning you give to it” - Tony Robbins
Sometimes, we unknowingly tell ourselves stories and start to accept them as our reality, not realising that our reality is shaped by the meanings and interpretations we choose to give to whatever situations we find ourselves in.
I share a powerful mental tool that, if used, can be the difference between a life full of awe and one full of complaints on this week’s episode. It's such a powerful tool that has worked wonders time after time in my life.

“My being unaffected personally or directly by these injustices does not preclude me from using my voice or taking a stand for humanity"
There is a lot going on in the US, Nigeria and other parts of the world right now, and it's very easy to view it from a distance and call it a US or some other problem if you're not directly affected. These issues are global and we all need to face them.
I believe that there is hope for the future and it involves us ALL playing our role. We all have a part to play in creating the world we want the next generation to live in. We can all do better.

So very often, we all think of starting over at something or doing something different and think about all the reasons we can’t do it and why it can’t work, not realizing that there’s a reason why we keep getting the urge to do that thing.. You were gifted that dream for a reason, it’s you who’s supposed to bring it to life and create an experience and possibilities for others.

Agatha Achindu is in the guest chair today!
Agatha grew up on her parents farm in Cameroon and was used to eating homemade dishes filled with fresh vegetables and fruits and was shocked to find when she moved to the US that these foods wouldn't be readily available. She wanted the same for her kids and began making baby food and sharing them with friends. The idea for her company stemmed from her belief that fresh, homemade organic foods could be made available for all babies. She went on to found a company that does just this.
Agatha is a wellness entrepreneur, speaker, and educator who specializes in helping American families thrive, by transforming the way they live and feed their children. As the founder of Yummy Spoonfuls, a line of fresh-frozen organic food for kids, she’s on an unrelenting mission to make healthy food convenient and accessible for busy parents and families. A Certified Integrative Nutrition Coach and yoga instructor, she extends her mission further by offering a brand perspective that amplifies her message of whole living for modern times.
A former IT executive at a Fortune 500 company, she left corporate America and launched Yummy Spoonfuls in 2006. Her goal was to give parents a way to feed their children healthy foods in a convenient way that matched their busy lifestyles. For her efforts and expertise, she has become a voice of authority in her field. Agatha is a regular contributor to the Washington Post, and has appeared in notable media outlets such as the Today Show, CNN, CBS, Forbes, Fortune, and People Magazine.
Agatha’s platform represents what it means to live a whole, full, and vibrant life that nourishes the mind, body, and soul. Her burgeoning wellness empire offers something for everyone - from the curious toddler to the wisest elder - and she won’t rest until they all have what they need to live and be well.
Agatha shares how she moved from having a passionate idea to founding her own business and so much more.
Enjoy!!
