This is a bittersweet episode and one that I have procrastinated on for over a month because a month ago I decided that I was going to end the Resonance Rising podcast. And this was a decision that didn't come lightheartedly. I spent a lot of time deliberating this because over the last year that I've been doing this podcast, which has been an incredible journey for me, not only the podcast, but this last year in my life has been a year of significant transformation on all fronts.
And as I evolved as a person, as I've grown and expanded, I realized That the theme of this podcast was resonating less and less with me. While I love the topics that this podcast covers, while I love learning about and exploring the world of sound. Electromagnetics, light, and how we can harness those to improve our health, to empower ourselves, to find alternative ways to heal and optimize our health and our mind.
To me, it just covered a sliver of what I'm truly passionate about. And what I'm truly passionate about is personal development, is spirituality, is evolving and growing and expanding as a human on all fronts. And for a while I was contemplating whether or not I was going to keep resonance rising and just pivot the theme of the podcast.
But about a month ago, I was talking to a dear friend of mine and one of my spiritual mentors, Mitra Manesh, And I joked with her, I was telling her about this, wanting to do this pivot in the podcast. And I joked with her about her co-hosting the podcast with me. And she said, you know what, that sounds like a great idea.
And I was not at all anticipating that I was going to bring on a co host. But in that moment, it just resonated so deeply with both of us that we decided, Okay, we're going to do this. We're going to create a new podcast together. And we contemplated whether or not we were going to use resonance rising, but it didn't make sense.
We wanted to create something new, something fresh that was birthed from an energy that is reflective of who I am and who Mitra is today. And so I officially decided to bring a close to the Resonance Rising podcast to create space for something new that me and Mitra are planning on bringing to the world.
It looks like by July of this year, so in a couple months. Doing this podcast has been such a gift for me because it has helped me break through a lot of limiting paradigms that I had about myself. A year ago, when I started this podcast, I was terrified. I told myself, I'm an introvert. Who do I think I am, starting a podcast?
I'm not that great at asking questions. How am I going to sound interesting on a podcast? I don't know. And I said, fuck it. Granted, I had help because at the time I had my friend and co host Lauren Weinstein. And Lauren really encouraged me and inspired me to do it and to do it with me. And the first five or 10 episodes, we did it together before she realized that she needed to focus her energies on a different path.
And it was such a blessing for me because I learned through that whole process that all those perceived limitations that I had about myself were bullshit. They were bullshit. I love to podcast. I love to converse. I am great at asking questions. I am engaging with my guests. And I realized that there's a whole side of me that I didn't even know existed.
And I'm so grateful for that. And I'm so grateful for you, the audience, because if it wasn't for your curiosity, if it wasn't for your commitment to empowering yourselves with knowledge, to discovering new and better ways to live healthier and happier lives. I wouldn't have the motivation and inspiration to have kept this podcast going.
To know that you all were out there and benefiting from this knowledge and this wisdom was fuel for me. And I want to thank you so much for that. I imagine you, the listener, are someone who has a curiosity about life, someone who is probably relentless in your pursuit to finding a better way, a better way in doing anything in life, in particular, a better way of taking care of your health and your wellbeing.
And you're not someone, I imagine, who settles for the status quo. And for that, I'm so grateful. Because it is people like you who give hope to humanity. You give energy, you give motivation, you give inspiration to the people who are doing the research, creating the technologies that are exploring the new frontiers.
You create new possibilities, all of us, because of your curiosity and because of your commitment to going beyond the status quo. And so keep feeding your curiosity, keep exploring new ways to heal your body, your minds and spirits. Keep hope for a healthier and happier life for you. Something I haven't talked much about on this podcast is my spirituality and my connection to prayer, not as a religious thing.
Prayer as a mode of setting intentions in a declarative way. And it's something I love to do not only for myself but for other people. So before I say goodbye for the time being, I would love to give you
I wish for you to be living the healthiest, happiest, most vital life that you possibly can for yourself. I wish that your life is filled with joy and love and peace. A deep, happy life. Inner peace. And from that inner peace, joy naturally expresses itself. I pray and I wish for you to be living your most abundant and prosperous life.
That prosperity flows, not only into your life financially, but is reflected in all areas of your life. That all parts of your life, financial, your intimate relationships, your friendships, your health and well being, everything is in perfect harmony. For that is the way we were meant to live our lives.
It's just a process of remembering. It's a process of clearing those things within us and around us that are interfering from us experiencing our true nature. And so I wish for you to realize this for yourself, and I wish for you to take the path that is most graceful and easy for you. That as you evolve, that as you grow, and as you face your challenges, That it's done with grace, that it's done with ease, that you are guided and supported in a manner that makes the process a whole lot of fun for you.

Dr. Oschman has both the academic credentials and the background in alternative therapies to carry out his explorations. He has degrees in Biophysics and Biology from the University of Pittsburgh. He has worked in major research labs around the world. These include Cambridge University in England, Case-Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, the University of Copenhagen, Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, where he was on the faculty, and the Marine Biological Laboratory in Woods Hole, where he was a staff scientist. His many scientific papers have been published in the world’s leading journals. And, to learn about the theories and practices underlying complementary methods, Jim has both taught and attended classes at various schools around the world, and experienced a wide range of bodywork techniques. This has brought Jim some distinctions, including acting as President of the New England School of Acupuncture, and a Distinguished Service Award from the Rolf Institute. Jim continues his research and writing in Dover, New Hampshire, where he is President of Nature’s Own Research Association.

As a board certified cardiologist, Dr. Lee Cowden is internationally known for his knowledge and innovative approaches in practicing and teaching integrative medicine. Biography
Alexandre Tannous is as an ethnomusicologist, sound therapist and sound researcher who holds four degrees in music, and with years of experience performing, composing, conducting, teaching and lecturing about music.
He has been investigating the therapeutic and esoteric properties of sound from three different perspectives - Western scientific, Eastern philosophical, and shamanic societal beliefs - to gain a deeper understanding of how, and to what extent, sound has been used to affect human consciousness. This search has led him to the intersection of art, science, philosophy and spirituality.
The material he transmits about sound is based on a multidisciplinary research conducted over 23 years: observations he made during his fieldwork in over 40 countries, scientific studies, personal experiences, and data collected from thousands of people he has worked with doing sound therapy. This has led him to a deeper understanding of how sound reveals and unlocks hidden powers we have within us to promote profound inner transformation and healing.
Inspired by his findings, he designed a protocol of an integrated experience he calls “Sound Meditation” in which he shares the findings from his research, raising an awareness to how a specifically designed sound can have the ability to help us to disconnect from habitual patterns while judiciously listening to the specific overtone-rich instruments he plays. He employs a phenomenological approach to study the effects of sound, using a method that empowers the participants to engage actively with tools that enhance their experience, using the consciousness-altering properties of sound to heighten self-awareness, to connect to the higher self, to fine-tune self-observation and self-enquiry.

Dr. Higgins utilizes a variety of innovative techniques to support the self-healing mechanism of the body. Among the techniques she utilizes is her use of interval entrainment, which harnesses sound and vibration to “speak” directly to the cells in the body in their own language, thus stimulating the body’s inherent healing abilities. Dr. Higgins is a graduate of the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine.
