If we were to subtitle this episode it would earn the moniker "The Party Poms and the Adventure Pugs". That's because this week's guest, Killswitch Engage bassist Mike D'Antonio, has a Pug era and a Pom era. Currently living in the Pomeranian era with a 3 year old named Sprocket and a 9 year old named Maverick, we also touch upon the bygone pug era that was defined by Raisin and Potato. We cover lots of ground talking about honeymooning with dogs, vegetarian/veganism, how dogs enrich our lives and much more.
Killswitch Engage will release their 9th full-length album called This Consequence on February 21st and are embarking on a Spring tour on March 5th in Nashville, TN. For more info visit killswitchengage.com
Mike gave a shout out to the ASPCA who for over 150 years have been leading the way in fighting cruelty, rescuing and securing adoptions for animals in need, and driving significant legislative change that protects their lives and welfare — ultimately transforming how Americans value and care for animals.
