Greetings citizen!
Join Troubleshooter Rapid Response Team 413 as they take on another fun, routine task for your friend and mine, The Computer. As with most Troubleshooter missions, this one will be perfectly safe for everyone concerned.
This episode sees the team dealing with the consequences of messing around in a power plant, as well some very lively demonstrations of just how well protected a Comp Node actually is. They also *gasp* try and attempt to accomplish their mission objectives.
Naturally, it's a fiasco.

With a certain Baldur's Gate 3 taking the world by storm, we decided to do an episode on computer RPGs - all those digital versions of our favourite games that we've lost hours to.
Join us as we talk about games from the past that we loved (and loathed) and marvel at just how much time Steve has lost to Baldur's Gate 3...

This episode sees our team explore RYI sector where they begin to suspect that Friend Computer isn't as...well..."stable" is a stretch, but isn't as "predictable" as usual. They also explore a cubicle farm and a nuclear reactor, because we all know letting troubleshooters near a nuclear reactor is a BRILLIANT idea.

Our brave heroes spend this episode navigating a PLC warehouse, trigger happy Army troopers, experimental soft drinks and improvised religious icons.
And guess what? More singing.
Yes, the singing still isn't good.

This episode sees our brave team summoned to their mission briefing where they learn that they will be exploring a totally safe and doubtlessly disarmed missile silo, whilst also looking for game show hosts to interview.
Predictably, there is singing.
Not good singing.

Draw a Venn diagram of geeky interests, and there will be a massive circle where RPGs and Miniature Wargaming meet. In this episode, we're going to talk all about this cousin to RPGs, our experiences with it and some recent announcements in the mini wargaming community that have caught our interest.
This is our second miniature wargaming episode - if you want more nonsense like this, check out part one.

Steve's had this great idea that we should do some actual plays of the games we are talking about. So, here is the fourth of these - Episode 5 of "The Assumptions", a SLA Industries actual play podcast. We hope you enjoy it!
In this episode, Bob continues his investigation of the sewage plant's records, whilst McTavish and Bovril battle it out with the spider creatures that seems to have taken up residence in Wooly's desiccated corpse.

This episode (and apologies for the delay in it coming out!) sees our intrepid team try to solve the problem of dealing with whatever fell off Mark IV and caused the warbot to stop working. As would be expected, the Troubleshooters are a picture perfect example of teamwork, leadership and co-operation.

In this episode, the Assumptions split up - leaving Bob to do some ever so exciting data analysis, whilst Bovril and McTavish go off to investigate Wooly - the missing sewage plant worker.

Ok, ok... 2021 was a LONG time ago and this episode is horrendously late. We know... However we're back - that's the main thing, so settle back and enjoy this - rather long - episode where we warble on about 2021 and all the cool things we've played, bought and backed. This episode sees the team get into an argument with a presumptive scrubbot, play a game of "who can get inside the Mark IV first", interpret the Computer's instructions incorrectly and with fatal consequences, and test out the fire suppression systems of the bot they're meant to be guarding.

This episode sees our intrepid team finally open the crate of mission equipment that Friend Computer generously provided for them. They meet some VERY anti-personnel landmines, have fun with a green clearance doll and generally indulge in a LOT of violence. Seriously, the body count is pretty high. Oh and there's some mutant powers flying around too, the filthy traitors (apart from Sasha-R of course - your confessed genetic abnormalities make you slightly less abhorrent).
Naturally, Mark IV's ego gets pandered too. After all, if you met a building sized warbot, wouldn't you?

Steve's had this great idea that we should do some actual plays of the games we are talking about. So, here is the fourth of these - Episode 4 of "The Assumptions", a SLA Industries actual play podcast. We hope you enjoy it!
In this episode, the Assumptions arrive at the water treatment works in Downtown, intent on getting to the bottom of the mystery of the contaminants (and getting paid in the process). Here they meet the crew of the plant, have fun with some padlocks and are introduced to an intriguing corporate mascot.
Oh, and Bovril comes away thinking he's the funniest person to ever have lived.

We finally get around to reviewing Cubicle 7's Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay 4th edition! As a life long fan of 1st ed, how does this new edition shape up? Will it let us continue to adventure in that grim world of perilous adventure that we're used to, or has it turned into something else?
In this episode we talk about everything that is good and bad (in our ever so humble opinion) about 4e including, but not limited to character creation, the system, combat, magic and stealing all your player's money between sessions. It's a BIG book, so there's a LOT to talk about!
We also resist the urge to rant too much about the artwork.
As always, we try and remain measured an unbiased in our review.
You can get hold of Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay at Cubicle 7's website here or on their Drive Thru RPG page.

This episode sees our brave team's second batch of clones turning up to the hanger to take over from where their previous incarnations left off. There's no singing in this episode I'm afraid, but there is quite a bit of death. And betrayal. And people throwing each other under the proverbial bus. In this case the bus is a warbot several hundred metres long and armed with enough firepower to take on a small army.
