They should guided to a path where they can correct their past mistake. Sometimes, this should be done with love, sometimes with punishment. But sometimes as a society, we fail to understand what would be an appropriate punishment. We forget that we have be compassionate, kind and just while punishing.Maxim Gorky, in his short story talk " Bhandafod" write about such an incident from his life.
