🚨 The BOE raises the base rate to 5% as a result of inflation "taking a lot longer than expected" to come down.
In May, we saw the base rate increase to 4.5% and we have just seen the Bank of England raise the rate to a 15 year high of 5%
Understandably this news sways people’s opinions on whether now is the right time to be spending their money, never mind investing it 🫣
