To kickoff the summer, we hosted Look Good. Feel Good. All Summer 18' , with our girl Sommar Theodore from AndInSommary. Sommar gets us ready to Look Good by sharing tips on how to prep our closets to slay the summer. Madi and I follow with the ingredients needed to create your recipe for a sweet summer - Growth, Gratitude, Grace, and Giving. Our girlfriends who registered for the virtual event received a few sweet treats that we now want to share with you. Sweet Treats Sommar '18 Essentials Shopping List and Citrus + Sugar Recipe Card (Email us) Hello Summer Playlist Citrus + Sugar Sommar Spritzer (extended version) that we'll be sipping on all summer. Place muddled strawberries at bottom of cocktail glass or mason jar Pour ¼ cup of tropical fruit juice OR Citrus + Sugar Simple Syrup (recipe below) into glass Add 1 oz of vodka (or more as needed depending how lit you want your spritzer) Stir gently Add ice, as desired Top off with your choice of bubbles (sparking wine, prosecco or champagne all work!) Garnish with a slice of citrus (we're into oranges this summer)Citrus + Sugar Simple Syrup
Pour 1 cup granulated sugar, 1 cup of water, 1 cup of orange juice (no pulp) and 2 cups of diced peaches into a medium saucepan and turn on medium heat. Bring ingredients to a boil and remove from heat Place cover on saucepan for 20 minutes to let the peaches infuse the syrup It's ready to useLet's Stay Connected This Summer
