Darragh is a poet, an author, a public speaker, and a mental health advocate.
We chat about so many important topics in this episode, including:
How Daragh's passion for mental health advocacy started through the loss of his friend to suicide His own personal struggles with depression Emotional numbness and repressed emotion How creativity saved him Building a mental health routine Normalising conversations about mental health How raw, authentic, and vulnerable conversation with others is so important and also so healing His experience with being blackmailed for nudes and how he dealt with it How Daragh unintentionally realised he had ADHD and how it affects him 'Let The Light Pour In'The thing I love most is his openness and willingness to help others by sharing his story so beautifully.
His poems have me in tears on the regular… so raw, so authentic, so beautiful, and so relatable. He actually reads one of his poems at the end of this episode.
Daragh and I connected online about 8 years ago and finally met in person for the first time … it did not disappoint! -
Such a raw, honest, and incredibly inspiring episode with Sophia Harris.
Sophia is a nutritionist and food relationship coach. The information she shares around this is invaluable, but I think the real gold in this episode comes from Sophia opening up about her own struggles and how she has overcome them.
Sophia has suffered from anorexia, binge eating disorder, bulimia, exercise addiction, mental health struggles, and abuse. She has been through so much but has survived, and is now thriving. Her experiences, and overcoming them, are what drive her passion to help others.
I think the vulnerability and rawness that Sophia brings to the table here can help so many people who find themselves in similar situations. This conversation will give people hope that they too can get through whatever challenges they are facing. -

This episode came off the back of a chat I had with a client of mine. She came away from our conversation realising that she was never the problem, she wasn't broken, she had just been following flawed systems.
In this episode, I first chat about this topic from a weight loss point of view. Why you've never been able to achieve long-term weight loss in the past! Not because your body is broken or because there is something wrong with you, but because you've been following flawed systems. A system that's been sold to you by people trying to make money, people with no regard for others!
I also chat about this topic on a deeper level ... surprise surprise! I talk about how society has sold us a story about how to live our lives, and what will make us happy. How we've been pushed and pressed into a mold that society considers acceptable, and why this is probably making you miserable. It's a flawed system!
The beauty of this episode is that I also show you how to change. It's not easy, it's never going to be easy, but it is worth it. Please have the courage to change ... and don't go back.
Ultimately, I want you to live the life that you want to live, and not the life that others want you to live.
Enjoy lads, and please share with someone who you think is ready to change their lives too x

This is such a profound chat with Paul Scanlon.
This episode will help you on your journey to self-discovery… but only if you’re brave enough!
We go so deep into self-awareness, personal growth, personal responsibility, and working towards the authentic self.
We also chat about unlearning and reframing, out-growing old versions of ourselves and outgrowing other people, the lonely chapter, and fitting in versus belonging.
This episode is heavy but it’s one not to be missed.

Padraig is a mental health occupational therapist, a positive psychology coach, and a trauma specialist.
Selfishly I asked him to come on to my podcast so that I could benefit from our conversation and learn from him.
The work he does around empowering people to accept their past, in order to take control of their future is phenomenal.
Our conversation did not disappoint. I loved it and could have chatted with him for hours. He is one of the most genuine people I have had the pleasure of meeting.
I had so many lightbulb moments throughout and have so many takeaways to implement going forward. I have no doubt that you'll get so much value from Padraig, and love this episode as much as I loved recording it.
His passion for what he does is undeniable and I can't wait to have him back on for another chat!

Michelle has been in the health and fitness industry for over 20 years, she's owned her own gym, won solo female entrepreneur of the year, is an online and in-person PT, and has recently just qualified as a life coach.
After the birth of her son, Michelle experienced a dramatic seizure which resulted in her having open brain surgery and spending months in a rehabilitation hospital learning how to walk, talk, read, and write again. The hairs were standing up on my skin for parts of this episode.
Michelle's traumatic experience has allowed her to reevaluate what really is important to her. Her message is that we are the authors of our own lives. We get to decide! We should make decisions based on what we want, and not what others want of us.
If this episode doesn't get you motivated to start living your life by design rather than default, I don't know what will.

Today I chatted to the wonderful Siobhan O'Hagan. I started following Siobhan in 2019 and have been fascinated by her ability to live the life she wants and not be driven by the need to conform to societal norms.
This episode is like two friends sitting down with a cuppa and having a good oul chinwag and lots of laughs, you'll feel like you were there too!
We chatted about life, but also about some really important topics like:
Social media vs reality The comparison syndrome Negativity online It's okay to change your mind Failure is feedback The 'I'll be happy when fallacy' What happiness is for us!I really enjoyed this chat!

This episode is all about creating awareness and taking control of your own life.
Your actions need to be aligned with the results you're expecting to achieve.
This episode is relevant to all areas of your life - health, fitness, body composition, career, relationships, friendships, parenthood, goals, and values.
The importance of change being difficult is a very important part of this episode too. People expecting change to be easy is usually what's holding them back from achieving their goals.
Change isn't supposed to be easy! Finding change hard is actually an indicator that you're headed in the right direction. Change is uncomfortable but it's necessary for growth.
There is so much information to take away from this episode to help you start changing your life today!

We talk about health, fitness, habits, finding balance, the all-or-nothing approach, motivation, self-care, and self-love.
We also go way deeper into discussing topics like anxiety, mental health, traumas, and how to heal from your past to liberate your future.
I hope you enjoy listening to this as much as I enjoyed recording it.

How do you get what you want? How do you get to the top?
In this episode, I chat about different areas in my life in which I've seen an amazing amount of progress.
My aim isn't to blow smoke up my own arse here, the contrary actually, it's to give you some insight, hope, and a little bit of motivation to realise that it's possible ... the thing you've always wanted is possible! I promise!
I share the tips that I've learned along the way to help you get what you want ... to help you earn your seat at the table!
-
I took part in a Summit called 'From Confusion To Understanding' that was hosted at the start of January.
This is my interview ... enjoy!
-
If the thing you wanted was handed to you right now, you'd realise that the thing itself was never what you wanted.
What you wanted was the transformation that happens to you from doing the work to achieve that thing.

If you foster the ability to delay gratification, you can achieve anything in life.

This is a very personal episode talking about my recent emergency spinal surgery.
In the toughest times, we need to remember that nothing lasts forever, no pain, no suffering, no failure, no success, no love, no life.
If you're going through a tough time at the moment, this episode could help!
Keep her lit,
Kel x
