About Stacey:
Stacey is a powerful speaker, inspiring trainer, and an Amazon Best Selling Author. Her recent book: Dominate Your Sport – The 90-Day Comprehensive Performance Journal for Female Athletes has exploded onto the charts in multiple categories including: Sports Training, Health Fitness & Dieting, and Women’s Health.
Stacey teaches athletes, coaches, trainers, and parents The F.I.X. CODE technique for staying in the present and removing emotional attachments from their past performances, allowing them to gain a significant edge over their competitors.
Stacey’s first exposure to excellence took place at a young age. Her family’s Montreal home was the scene of frequent national and international meetings of the most amazing influencers in gymnastics and wrestling as they prepared for the 1976 Olympic Games. Those scenes are indelibly etched in her mind and became the foundation for her values and goals in life. A former Canadian National 1 competitive gymnast herself, Stacey knows what it takes to rise through the ranks to excel in sports.
Her brilliant, logistical mind led her to event planning on a massive scale–4 Olympic Games, Pan Am and Commonwealth Games then on to the G-20, G-8, G-7 conferences, working for some of the most powerful people in the political arena at the time.
In order to bring this to the next generation of athletes and youth, Stacey had to personally experience its every facet and nuance. It has taken her years and lots of learning’s though her commitment and belief in the F.I.X. CODE technique never wavers. With her undeniable passion and determination to inspire and support athletes and high achievers with their fears, anxiety, and those horrible feelings of mental self-sabotage. As she once suffered from a fear of heights, as a gymnast, she knows the challenges and pain that athletes go through each and every day…during tryouts, practices, and competitions. Experiencing the F.I.X. CODE is a gift… To learn it, and it becomes a gift that just keeps on giving.

In 2020, the nation took a significant step forward with the enactment of the National Suicide Hotline Designation Act, a bill NAMI advocated for that created a nationwide three-digit number (988) to assist people experiencing a mental health or suicidal crisis. This number is now available in communities across the country.
NAMI recognizes that other organizations have drawn distinctions between what diagnoses are considered “mental health conditions” as opposed to “mental illnesses.” We intentionally use the terms “mental health conditions” and “mental illness/es” interchangeably.
A mental illness is a condition that affects a person's thinking, feelings, behavior, or mood. These conditions deeply impact day-to-day living and may also affect the ability to relate to others. If you have — or think you might have — a mental illness, the first thing you must know is that you are not alone. Mental health conditions are far more common than you think, mainly because people don’t like to, or are scared to, talk about them. However:
1 in 5 U.S. adults experience mental illness each year
1 in 20 U.S. adults experience serious mental illness each year
1 in 6 U.S. youth aged 6-17 experience a mental health disorder each year
50% of all lifetime mental illness begins by age 14, and 75% by age 24
A mental health condition isn’t the result of one event. Research suggests multiple linking causes. Genetics, environment, and lifestyle influence whether someone develops a mental health condition. A stressful job or home life makes some people more susceptible, as do traumatic life events. Biochemical processes and circuits and basic brain structure may play a role, too.
None of this means that you’re broken or that you, or your family, did something “wrong.” Mental illness is no one’s fault. And for many people, recovery — including meaningful roles in social life, school, and work — is possible, especially when you start treatment early and play a strong role in your own recovery process.

In this episode of The Kid Factor, Barb delves into a topic close to every parent's heart: nurturing financial independence in their children. A recent survey reveals that 9 out of 10 parents prioritize financial independence for their children's adulthood, making it a top concern.
We begin by exploring the significance of financial independence and the long-term benefits of early financial education. Recognizing the impact of such education on a child's future, Barb shares insights on why starting early is key.
The episode unfolds with actionable steps tailored for different age groups, ranging from 6 to 26. For the youngest, we discuss foundational steps like introducing money through play and establishing basic financial skills and experiences. As the age group progresses, topics shift to budgeting, savings accounts, part-time work, and even discussions about investments.
For the older age brackets, we address more advanced concepts such as responsible credit card use, discussions on student loans and college funding, and encouragement for entrepreneurship and side hustles/gigs. The ultimate goal is to equip your children with the tools needed for financial success as they transition to adulthood.
Throughout the episode, Barb emphasizes the importance of family meetings, communication, and shared experiences. The benefits extend beyond financial literacy, fostering stronger family bonds, resilience, and a mindset geared towards achieving goals.
In closing, Barb encourages parents to take these small steps today, recognizing that they lay the foundation for a future of financial independence. The journey towards a financially empowered family dynasty starts with each of us. Until next time, stay empowered and keep crafting your family's financial legacy.

IF YOU OR SOMEONE YOU KNOW IS STRUGGLING WITH MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES... YOU"RE NOT ALONE>>>
Website: https://www.nami.org/Home
Phone: NAMI HELPLINE 800-950-6264 or TEXT "helpline" to 62640
In 2020, the nation took a significant step forward with the enactment of the National Suicide Hotline Designation Act, a bill NAMI advocated for that created a nationwide three-digit number (988) to assist people experiencing a mental health or suicidal crisis.

What signs or symptoms should parents be vigilant about to detect potential serious health issues in their child? How does maintaining motivation play a significant role in the overall battle against cancer? What kind of support systems are crucial for parents who are taking care of a child with a serious illness? And much more!About Andrew Miller:
A courageous, highly spirited, and brave 9-year-old warrior battling two types of cancer…
He was diagnosed with two types of Stage 4 cancer.
1) High-grade glioma cancer (located in the right front lobe of his brain)...
A glioma is a mass of cells or a tumor that forms when glial cells grow out of control. Glial cells support neurons, or nerves, in the central nervous system. A glioma that’s considered “high-grade” spreads quickly. High-grade gliomas may not always be curable. They’re challenging to treat because they grow rapidly into the brain or spinal cord.
2) Adult B-cell lymphoma cancer
That refers to a group of cancers that affect your immune system. It makes up 85% of all non-Hodgkin lymphomas, which are among the most common cancers in the United States. B-cell lymphoma frequently affects your lymphatic system, which is a network of lymph nodes, lymph vessels, and tissues that move fluid around your body.
He now has so many little tumors starting in inoperable places.
His ❤️Make-A-Wish❤️ is to receive 2,000 cards for Christmas and birthday, which just recently❤️

Inquisiminds is a secular and safe environment where K-12 students can participate in a variety of academic and enrichment classes to further their educational needs.
We meet in Burke, VA.
At Inquisiminds, children may attend one class or several classes centered around their interests and academic goals. We strive to offer the core classes as well as the fun stuff!
The director works collaboratively to ensure quality programming in an open and friendly environment and strives to make the center as flexible, relevant, and welcoming as possible to both parents and children.

How does NAMI support individuals and families facing mental health challenges?Finding an advocate is key to navigating challenges and seeking support. In what ways can individuals offer support to someone who is navigating the challenges of raising a child with mental health issues?Adjusting communication styles to match a child's needs is crucial for caregivers connecting with a child dealing with mental health issues. And much more!About Jennifer:
For many years, I've been a dedicated advocate for mental health awareness and support for families grappling with mental health challenges. My passion lies in education, eliminating stigma, and connecting families with the right resources. I've actively lobbied on Capitol Hill, established a supportive speaking community for clients and family members, and provided training to first responders. I'm always eager to listen, learn, share resources, and educate in this critical area. I'm dedicated to empowering individuals to craft their own Life by Design. Often, we settle in our careers and relationships, accepting what we think life has in store for us. I refuse to settle, and I encourage you not to either!
My journey began with owning Domino's Pizza Stores and raising a family in Maine. In 2011, we moved to Las Vegas, but I quickly realized that I thrive on challenge and growth. This led me to become a Realtor, where I helped people buy and sell homes. Yet, I yearned for more – more freedom to travel and spend time with my children and grandchildren, more opportunity to leave a lasting legacy, and more ways to help others become the best version of themselves.
Now, I reside in Gulfport, MS, and I relish the freedom to work on my terms, which includes roles in leadership, coaching, consulting, real estate, and real estate investments. I'm also privileged to serve as the Managing Director of the Gulf Coast, MS Chapter of Polka Dot Powerhouse, where I connect remarkable, action-oriented women to foster personal and professional growth.

IF YOU OR SOMEONE YOU KNOW IS STRUGGLING WITH MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES... YOU"RE NOT ALONE>>>

Research suggests multiple, linking causes.

I live by the business philosophy of one of my mentors, Richard Branson. “If somebody offers you an amazing opportunity, but you are not sure you can do it, say yes – then learn how to do it later!”
Throughout my lifetime, I have spent tens of thousands of hours researching and honing emotional intelligence (self-awareness and social awareness), which is at the core of social branding and relational marketing. My understanding of these dynamics and love for people have led to developing large international marketing teams that have acquired hundreds of thousands of customers for multiple companies, participating in several thriving business projects, traveling the world to aid in social relief efforts, and sharing my journey of passionate and purposeful living with others.
As a speaker and entrepreneur, I enjoy weaving together relevant information, light-hearted humor, and creative examples to expand minds, touch hearts, and ignite spirits. I hope to impart to others the core principles, psychologies, and philosophies behind strengthening their social brand existence, developing their social credibility, and engaging with the next generation. This will not only accelerate their growth today but also position them to be effective and relevant for years to come. I love enabling, equipping, and empowering those I connect with to feel more energized, focused, confident, and ready to make a powerful social impact!
