In this episode of the podcast, I break down what was an insanely violent Cage Warriors card in Rome.
Cage Warriors 162 was headlined by a rematch between Dumitru Girlean and Simone Patrizi, a fight where Girlean would go on to win again.
However, the headlines belonged to three men: Nicolas Leblond, Emanuele Tetti and Baris Adiguzel who produced three of the most brutal knockouts of 2023... all on the same night.
In terms of sheer entertainment, this card goes down as one of the best that Cage Warriors have put on in 2023.

In this episode, I sit down to (belatedly) recap Cage Warriors 160.
A lot of things happened on this card, but none crazier than Luke Riley vs Alexander Loof. An all-time Cage Warriors classic. And Riley's had two of those this year. The Scouse Zombie does it again.
Elsewhere on the card, James Hendin handily dominated Tobias Harila in the main event. Adam Cullen returned to the win column with a textbook 1st round decimation. Next Gen teammate Matt Bonner also returned to the win column and also did so with a submission in the first round.

Elsewhere on the card, John De Jesus' quirky striking earned him another win in the Yellow Gloves.
Terrence Saeteurn is my new favourite fighter after he and David Lopez scrambled for close to 15 minutes at a very high level.
Bobby Winther made his pro debut and won via KO - he's one to keep an eye on in the future.

Someone's 0 had to go as Michael Pagani and James Power left it all on the line in a back-and-forth scrap.
