Okay, so this movie didn’t technically win our poll, but the winning movie doesn’t actually exist. Our bad. This week we’re reviewing the second most voted for film, “Muppet Treasure Island,” starring Tim Curry and all your favorite puppets! This is one of Hannah Hart’s most cherished childhood films so she joined us for this delightful gush sesh.

This week we’re reviewing one of our most requested films, “Heathers.” The 1988 satirical black comedy starring Winona Ryder and Christian Slater is one of our favorites, but we understand that it’s not for everyone, especially in light of everything happening in the world right now. We get into some of the darker topics of the movie, such as school shootings and suicide. So consider yourself warned. But don’t worry, it’s still a fun episode!

We polled you guys on your favorite John Cusack film and you overwhelming picked this 1989 classic. Cameron Crowe’s directorial debut, “Say Anything,” is the slow-burning love story between two recent high school graduates. Super quotable lines, cool wardrobes, and an iconic boombox scene make for one very memorable movie.

You guys voted for this 10% Tomatometer-rated movie, so we reviewed it! 1997’s “Batman & Robin.” Woof. We give the shortest recap and the longest individual character-analyses in Popcorn history. Joel Schumacher apologized for making this flick, but we won’t apologize for this review.

This week we’re reviewing John Hughes’s questionably classic film “Weird Science.” Kelly LeBrock stars as Lisa, a computer-generated dream woman of two nerdy high school boys. With mutant bikers, phallic missiles, and a giant talking frog turd, there’s more weird than science in this flick!

This week we’re reviewing the 1993 remake(!), “Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey,” starring Michael J. Fox, Don Ameche, and Sally Field. The film is about 2 dogs, Chance and Shadow, and a cat, Sassy, who try to make their way back to their owners through the wild mountains. The movie gets a little ridiculous and we get a little punchy. Cats rule and dogs drool! Or is it the other way around?

Christmas is just around the corner and to commemorate, we watched the film that we’ve all been conditioned to watch around this time of year, “A Christmas Story.” This movie is about a boy determined to get a BB gun, but is constantly deterred by adults telling him, “you’ll shoot your eye out.” Oh and a bunch of irrelevant stuff in between. The hilarious Aaron Doh joined us and shared how he almost shot his own eye out! Merry Christmas, everyone!
