Joel Peterson is a business leader, author, and professor. He is the former chairman of JetBlue Airways and a professor at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Peterson received his MBA from Harvard University in 1973, founded the private equity firm Peterson Partners, and served on the board of over 35 companies. Glenn was an editor at the New York Times for 37 years and now teaches a flagship class at Stanford Business School called Winning Writing â students say itâs one of their most useful and favorite classes at Stanford. Glenn shares his tips on how to become a one in a million writer. He has such an interesting perspective on life and the long horizon of our careers and Iâm so excited to share his story with you. In this episode, I experienced some video technical difficulties in the middle of the podcast which I didnât realize until after the recording. I would recommend listening to this episode rather than watching the full video due to the frame moving in and out of focus. Truthfully, I was going back and forth on whether to even publish this episode because of the poor video quality, but Glenn has such thoughtful insights, I definitely wanted to get this out there for people to learn from.
