Welcome to my positive affirmation recordings. My name is Dr. Harry Henshaw. I am a licensed psychotherapist in Miami, Florida. I have been working in the field of substance abuse and mental health counseling for over 35 years.
I am also a musician having had 11 years of piano training as a child. I have utilized my musician skills to create therapeutic relaxation music and sleep music that I currently use with my clients in counseling sessions. I have found my relaxation music and sleep music to be invaluable tools in my work as a counselor.
The primary purpose of my therapeutic relaxation music is to help the individuals that I work with to experience a very deep state of relaxation and as a result reduce their anxiety and stress. Positive affirmation recordings are a very powerful tools that you can utilize to begin to change and transform. As we know, everything that we think and say is an affirmation. Unfortunately for many, much of their internal and external communication with others and the world is quite negative in nature. Listening to positive affirmation recordings on a consistent basis will help you to create a new and more positive state of mind from which to live life.
When positive affirmations are mixed with therapeutic relaxation music the product that is created is very powerful, even more powerful than listening to positive affirmations alone. When a person is deeply relaxed the effect of the positive affirmations is much greater. It is the therapeutic relaxation music that creates the tranquil auditory and emotional space for the positive affirmations to penetrate to the unconscious part of our mind and as a result imprint the positive meaning from the positive affirmations. The effect of the positive affirmations is much greater when they are mixed with therapeutic relaxation music.
