Je cherche à remettre en question les idées pré conçues du domaine de l’entraînement, de la nutrition et tout ce que ça implique.
Je suis détenteur d’un baccalauréat en enseignement de l’activité physique (UQAM, 1998), d’une maîtrise en nutrition (UdeM, 2003) et titulaire d’un doctorat en science de l’activité physique (UdeM, 2009). Au cours de mes études, j’ai toujours eu à évoluer dans le domaine de l’entraînement. J’ai rapidement réalisé qu’il était extrêmement difficile de jumeler la réalité du terrain avec la théorie du monde académique. J’ai constaté que plusieurs se cantonnaient dans l’un ou l’autre des camps : On est quelqu’un de terrain, haltère à la main ou bien On est quelqu’un de théorique, livre à la main. Après de nombreuses années, j’en suis venu à la conclusion qu’il fallait absolument rallier les deux extrémités du monde de l’entraînement et de la physiologie de l’exercice afin de réussir quelque chose d’exceptionnel. En réalité, l’un ne peut ignorer l’autre, car l’un découle de l’autre et vice versa.
