Episode 22 is finally here and it was a doozy. I talked with my friend, musician Travis Adams (My Hotel Year, Inkwell) about his memories of the 8-Bit classics Metroid and Castlevania. We touched on a lot more than that including No Man's Sky, some stories from when he produced a record for my old band Early Next Year and the inspiration behind the first album from his new project Sinking State, "The Absent Observer"
This episode closes with a snippet of the NES inspired track Varia Suit by Travis's previous band, Field Kit. Enjoy!

and just like that we've come to the final episode of the year. As a little year end treat for everyone, I decided to do the most narcissistic thing possible and have someone come interview me for my own podcast.
Charlie Bowie, hilarious comic and one of the hosts of the Poking The Bear podcast, indulged me in this ridiculousness and talked to me about one of my favorite games Super Mario RPG! Enjoy and happy new year.

I'm finally back with Episode 19! Yeah....I said episode 20 in the intro, sue me.
I sat down with comedian Rey Reyes to talk about playing Final Fantasy VII at a very young age and excessive difficulty in games. Enjoy!
Please pay special attention to the intro of this episode, there's some people that I needed to thank for helping me get the show where it is today, I don't know how I would have done it without them.

Bonus episode!
My 9 year old heard I had a Podcast and wanted to be on it, so I thought what the heck, let's see what happens.
What happened was an adorable mini-sode where we discussed some of her favorite Nintendo Switch games.
This was a quick episode, but consider it a bonus. I'll be back with a full episode on Thursday

Episode 17 is here with the mastermind behind Orlamdo (not a typo) Studio, Mickey Mick! We chat about possibly the 2 most diametrically opposed franchises in video game history. We start with a dive into Civilization and the games of Sid Meier and end on the lunacy of Saint's Row. It's a fun one.

Episode 14 is here! Today I talked with my friend and sometimes video game squadmate Marcus Abell about Call of Duty: MW3. We get into some great discussions about meeting lifelong friends through shooting people in the face (virtually of course), what has changed with this newest generation of consoles and also the quickest way to, deservedly in this case, receive rage filled messages from another player for weeks on end. Enjoy!

Would you like the good news or the bad news first? Bad news first? Good choice.
Due to this bastard of a hurricane that's rolling through, I won't be able to record the next batch of episodes this weekend so look for Episode 10 sometime in the first week of October.
Now that unpleasantness is out of the way, enjoy Episode 9 with my guest Javaris Temple. We have some friendly debate about Batman: Arkham Knight that I think you'll enjoy.
