About the Host:
Piarvé Wetshi is the co-founder of Colèchi a collective agency acting towards sustainable development in the fashion industry. Using action research to provide insights into innovation for organisations and brands working in fashion, Colèchi explores how the fashion industry could be redefined to meet the needs of a more ethical and sustainable industry.
About the Guests:
Rahemur Rahman is a fashion designer, filmmaker and Community Curator known for his significant contributions to the British-Bengali diaspora and innovative use of traditional Bengali block printing techniques through his eponymous menswear label. He is deeply committed to preserving and promoting his cultural heritage, and reimagining how queer creatives in the South Asian community are perceived.
Orsola de Castro has been a leading figure in sustainable fashion for the past 20 years. She is the co-founder of Fashion Revolution, the world’s largest fashion activism movement and Estethica, the organisation creating agency for change in the fashion industry. In 2021 she published her book ‘Loved Clothes Last’, providing ways to breathe new life into one’s wardrobe.

Katy Mason is a visionary artist who makes striking creations out of objects that might conventionally be perceived as rubbish, into art. She is also a co-founder of Trash Club and Soup Archive, a quirky clothing upcycling initiative founded alongside Sophie Ruane and Jasmin Febbraro.
About the Guests:
Christiane Matz an artist and illustrator based in London, UK. Her work focuses on intimacy documented through experimental drawing, imagining new narratives from observed and lived experiences. These images capture moments in time, exploring emotions of grief, desire and love.
Navneet Virk is a British Asian designer and artist with a professional background in styling, design, and material development. Sustainability is at the core of her work, focusing on creating new objects from waste material. Her work explores concepts of excesses within human nature, consumption and how we define value.

About the Host:
Matthew Needham is a British-Czech artist, curator, Sustainability Lecturer at Central Saint Martins and co-founded Trash Club with Katy Mason during their residency at Sarabande. As an artist and curator, Needham’s practice focuses on bricolaging fly-tipped waste within his unique exhibition aesthetic. His ever-evolving investigations into the Anthropocene pose greater questions towards humanity's curation of the world around us and its dissemination within nature.
About the Guests:
Jawara Alleyne is an interdisciplinary artist, designer and educator whose work is rooted in Jamaican and Caymanian identity. The designer's style language is the result of examining topics of cultural relevance while pushing these through contextual and abstract references. Alleyne's collections are often the product of many references and research which he uses to create personal narratives.
Anciela is the fashion label founded by Colombian and Chilean designer, Jennifer Droguett Espinosa. Anciela is a homage to Jennifer’s cultural heritage as a culmination of the Latin folklore and rich experiences of a childhood combined with an outsider's perspective from leaving the homeland and living in London.

Aswan Magumbe is a Fashion Journalist who recently graduated from Central Saint Martins. Aswan works with a range of publications and businesses where she predominantly writes as well as social media, PR and styling assistance. For her final graduation project, she created BLIQ Magazine, a publication that aspires to celebrate young Black British creatives.

For the last 15 years Paul has run 14:59, a multidisciplinary studio working across the different communication areas of broadcast, moving image, advertising, branding, fashion and art.

This Autumn, Trash Club is launching Behind The Bins with a podcast to celebrate the 100th Trash Talk milestone.
As an extension to Trash Talk, Behind The Bins podcast Series One is a collection of four episodes featuring Trash Club members and friends engaging in vibrant discussions about the creative journey. These discussions are centred around our C-R-A-P value pillars: Consciousness, Responsibility, Authenticity and People. Trash Clubbers have collectively developed these pillars over the past two years and provided the foundation for our collective mission.
Behind The Bins will be available to listen to and watch on Spotify, YouTube, and Apple Podcasts. A new episode debuts every Friday on all podcast platforms starting November 24!
