As important as it is to make the most of the holiday season, it's equally important to take care of ourselves...and this week's special guest is here to assist us in doing so!! He is Mr. Kim Terry, who owned Terry's Total Fitness in Henderson for a number of years, and still performs personal training out of his home. Terry also enjoyed tremendous success in basketball and track and field as a youngster, which earned him a spot in the Henderson County High School Athletic Hall of Fame. Come along as he reflects on his days in the field of competition, and his impressive health and wellness background. That name is Susie Sommers Thurman . . .and from teacher, to editor, to author, she has certainly enjoyed a well versed and well respected career. Thurman's published works include a book simply entitled "Henderson", featuring a collection of postcards showcasing the rich history of her home town, among several other masterpieces. Take a seat as she reflects on how she started writing, and speaks of her fruitful background within and outside of the classroom.
