Monks are a special mix of martial arts, magic, and mobility. They have something no other class does and they have access to some really powerful abilities. Playing a monk is all about figuring out when you hold and when to jam on the gas.
I’ve seen a dungeon master go from openly rolling saves against a monk’s Stunning Strike to rolling in secret. I’m sure that meaningless switch had nothing to do with prior encounters where the monk ran around the battlefield and stunned all the strongest monsters before they acted…. Anywho, let's dive right in.

What happens when three brunch dragons go to their favorite brunch spot on Halloween? Chaos...that's what.

If you’ve ever read an Animorphs book and thought “I wish I could turn into a dolphin at will”, the druid class is for you! Before we start, I have a druid dad joke for you all: How do you fish without a fishing rod?....

Today we are taking a look at Fighters. A classic choice for people who are damage dealing or tank inclined roleplayers. Fighters are one of the most versatile classes out there. Do you want to be a skilled archer, a muscle bound axe wielding maniac, or maybe a walking shield. And honestly, sometimes, hitting things really is the best situation.

Artificers. Let’s talk about a unique class. This class is really the only one that has a focus on items. And boy, artificers really love stuff. Stuff and things for days!!

Doing crimes isn’t inherently cool. But, in D&D, being a rogue and doing crimes is. Disclaimer: please don’t actually commit any crimes. They’re certainly not the biggest team player of the bunch, but they more than make up for it with the sheer number of useful skills they bring to the party. Let’s take a look at these sneaky bastards, Rogues.

Smiting one's foes never felt so good. Yes that’s right, today we are going to be taking a look at Clerics. Some would say this is one of the most useful, most powerful, and maybe the easiest classes to play. We know that Clerics/healers are often pigeonholed in RPGs as a support character or a holy goody-two-shoes. When in reality, they are actually one of the most versatile options adventurers can pick and if you have ever played one you know that after tasting that sweet power rush from smiting all the “sinners” it is a class that you struggle to not play again and again. So let’s jump right in.

Technically the term barbarian came from Rome and it was a derogatory term for anybody not from Rome. In dungeons and dragons 5e we mostly get the term from "Conan the Barbarian '', a musclebound survivor of savage wastelands dressed in a leather loincloth and madly hacking away at evil cultists with a massive axe. So think of a barbarian as character that can survive almost anything as they murder everything around them in a bloody frenzy.

Music has been used to influence moods from the time someone figured out how to bang to rocks together rhymically. It inspires warriors to push on in battle, and lulls babes to sleep. It enthralls you with its melody, and weaves itself into your memories.
Bards offer excellent role play opportunities and provide a wide range of skills from battle bards to healers. A true support character, a well constructed bard can give your party the edge it needs to succeed.
The bard is a charisma class, so you should make sure that is your highest ability. Dex is a good recommended second, but that really depends on what type of a bard you want to make.

Blood hunters are the monsters who hunt monsters, these masters of hemocraft sacrifice themselves to banish evil from this world. Matt Mercer (of Critical Role fame) added these warriors to 5e D&D.
The Blood hunter definitely appears to be an ediger version of the Ranger 5e class, but it also combines some Warlock class flavor with a martial Fighter class. If you have played a previous version of a Blood Hunter it is important to know that there were some changes to the class in 2020.

Come my pretties, let us tell you the reasons why the Warlocks are the best of the spell casters, and why we’re offering this one time only discounted price of your soul. You’re not using it anyway right?
-
Sorcerers, unlike wizards or warlocks, get their spell casting ability naturally. Whether it be in your genes, or a catastrophic event, arcane magic has fused with your soul.
One can’t study sorcery as one learns a language, any more than one can learn to live a legendary life. No one chooses sorcery; the power chooses the sorcerer.
Think of sorcerers as being a bit like the ‘chosen one’ archetype you find in a lot of fantasy literature - whether it’s through birth or a chance encounter, they’re special because they were made that way.

One shot: No no we aren’t talking about drinking. I know that is pretty surprising. So what is a One shot? A one-shot DnD adventure follows the same rules of a typical DnD campaign, the only difference is that it is usually self-contained and only runs for one session. -
Welcome home! It’s been a long journey. 40 years to be exact. Dungeons and Dragons was born in 1974, and it’s most recent iteration came about in 2014.
