Today I sit down with Jenn Sherb and Delsie Martin of the Wellness Clinic to have a discussion about Grief.
We all share personal perspectives from our own journeys through it, hoping itâll give some comfort to others who are navigating through their own grief.
WE ALL GRIEVE DIFFERENTLY
IT'S UNIVERSAL.
AN EXPERIENCE WE ALL GO
THROUGH. YET. IT'S SO UNIQUE. WE ALL GRIEVE DIFFERENTLY. YOU CAN LOSE THE SAME PERSON.
BUT STILL GRIEVE DIFFERENTLY. YOU CAN GO THROUGH THE SAME TYPE OF GRIEF. BUT STILL GRIEVE DIFFERENTLY. YOU CAN EXPERIENCE MULTIPLE LOSSES. BUT EACH LOSS WILL BE A DIFFERENT GRIEF. EACH EXPERIENCE WiLL BE UNIQUE. BECAUSE EACH RELATIONSHIP IS UNIQUE.
WE COPE DIFFERENTLY. WE GRIEVE DIFFERENTLY.
AND THE TAKEAWAY HERE IS THIS IS NORMAL AND TO NOT JUDGE. WHAT WORKED FOR SOMEONE ELSE MIGHT NOT WORK FOR YOU.
WHAT WORKED IN THE PAST MIGHT NOT WORK NOW.
GRIEF IS AN EXPERIENCE WE HANDLE ONE DAY AT A TIME.
Jenn is the owner of the Wellness clinic right here in Brandon Mb, and Delsie is one of the many amazing counsellors there.

Top 5 things you need to know if you want weight loss in 2023!
Today I sit down with Alicia and Josee from YWWL (Your Way Weight Loss)
They share their own personal stories with battling weight loss and gaining.
Now they are on a mission to spread awareness to others who struggle and setting them up for success with the proper mindset tools. Their program is unique and so much more than your hamster wheel of meal plans, calorie counting and everything else the diet culture has made us believe we need for weight loss. They are living proof that weight loss is actually simple, once you get your mindset right around your relationship with food. In fact they just released a must see documentary on eating only Tim Hortonâs for one month which left them with a combined total of over 110 donuts eaten within 30 days. Eating 3 Tim Horton meals a day plus donuts for snacks they ended up losing weight at the end of the challenge.
I left this discussion with so many ah ha moments. The conversation was not only good for my mind but my soul.
Would you eat a donut a day documentary

Today I sit down with a very inspiring human, Robin Pickering of Vancouver Island. Together we talk about how no matter where you are doesnât determine where you can go. If you're feeling stuck currently in your own damn way, hereâs a great episode for you to listen too.
Iâm so excited to also mention that Robin will be offering private coaching in the early part of the new year.
âAfter living a life of drugs and alcohol, toxic relationships, no coping skills, struggling with health and habits that made me feel horrible mentally and physically, Iâve pulled myself out of this vicious cycle I was in. I had zero knowledge in health, nutrition, and fitness and was stuck in this âdiet cultureâ mentality.
I knew I needed a change and it took me years to get there, but I never gave up. I kept trying over and over again and managed to seek help with both my physical and mental health.
Having lived both lives, I know itâs not easy and I can see it from both ends and understand what itâs like to feel like youâre getting nowhere.
I want everyone to know that with a shift in mindset, some discipline, and guidance that aligns with you, you can truly achieve anything you desire.
I want to be a part of other peoples journey who are looking to better their habits through nutrition and movement.
With a holistic approach through nutrition, and my knowledge in training, I hope to help others get healthy, strong, and fall in love with a healthy sustainable lifestyle.â

Welcome to episode 15! Today I sit down with dietition Rianna Tonn and Medical Doctor Laurel Stevenson to discuss bad habits and relationships surrounding food and diets.
This episode hits home for me... Over eat, restrict, purge, binge, weighing yourself excessively throughout the day, eating the same thing day after day week after week month after month, avoiding celebrations, starving all the time, food consumes my thoughts 24/7. It controls me. I feel powerless because of it. If you or someone you know can relate to any of these words then I'm glad you found this episode today. There hadn't been a topic that I can relate to as much as I do with this. Eating disorders...I've struggled for decades with restricting and binging. I grew up watching my mom jump on every type of diet each Monday then fall off the wagon by Thursday and binge and repeat...so struggling with having a healthy relationship with food just seemed normal for me, until it wasn't I guess. However, this year I feel I've made huge strides in breaking my old patterns and beliefs with my own relationship with food - so I hope after listening to this episode you too can find your way out of your own unhealthy relationship surrounding food.

On today's episode I sit down with Jordana, a registered oncology nurse, a wife and mom to a 15 month old little girl named Wyatt. Jordana opens up about her personal journey through postpartum. From the outside looking in, it would appear Jordana was living in pure bliss; amazing career, amazing husband, and now an amazing new baby girl. The reality is, behind closed doors, late into the night, kneeling on her cold bathroom floor, Jordana found herself contemplating ending her life.
