This week Mitch Phillips joins Design Daily! Mitch is a graphic and UX/UI designer. In this episode, we talk about what UX (User Experience) and UI (User Interface) are and why they are commonly referred to together as UX/UI. We get into some of the projects he's worked on and his journey to where he is now. Throughout his life, Mitch has made strategic moves to help his knowledge and experience grow. Mitch also talks about his experience with improv, it's relation to everyday conversations, and stories about getting lost in Arches National Park on a solo trip.

This week I am joined by Danny Chambers. He is a cloud engineer, musician, and photographer. He’s one of the hardest working and genuine people I know. Just over a year and a half ago Danny's journey in pursuing music as a career began. Since then he's released an EP, available on all platforms, and is working towards producing more lyrically impactful music.
In this episode, we talk about cloud engineering. We discuss what it is and how it ironically relates to him playing RuneScape as a kid. We also talk about his hustles in making money for photography equipment to music production. We discuss his beginnings in music and how it all came together one weekend in Pittsburgh. The same weekend we met for the first time. We get into finding the balance between your "day job", or what provides for you while you work on your passion, and your passion pursuit. As well as Danny gets into the meaning behind his lyrics on his EP Beautiful Storm.

Matthew Cox is an extraordinary designer and a good friend of mine. He is an Industrial Designer, carpenter, furniture maker, and a recent homeowner with his wife. We talk about how we met in college, what is industrial design, and its connection to architecture.
