Beth and Megan put some sunglasses on for this episode because this week we're talking about some Tim roles in cop procedurals! (This is a podcast you can't prove they're NOT wearing sunglasses). Get ready to see Tim get a little unhinged in an episode of Criminal Minds and be the best actor in an episode of CSI Miami. Beth may hate cop procedurals, but boy do we all love some good Tim content.

The choice to watch all of Tim’s filmography is a gift unto itself, but it's films like Starship Troopers that really make the whole process worth it. This episode, Megan and Beth sat down to watch the 90’s sci-fi satire without any idea what to expect from it. But man, did it deliver! Amazing effects! Scathing critique of the military! Tim playing a psychic! This movie is the hottest club in New York, by which I mean it has it ALL!

The wait is over! Megan and Beth are jumping right back in to this Tim rewatch with the highly acclaimed HBO western Deadwood. There will be talk of female representation, the hallmarks of the western genre, and of course, what a good job our guy Tim does playing a Jimmy Stewart type from the east. We are so back.

This episode of Don’t Tell Tim is about something we have never spoken about before- or maybe more accurately /not/ about something — because this episode is not about Tim! Instead, Beth and Megan are joined by special guest Britt to talk about Tim-adjacent Star Dule Hill and his role as Charlie Young on The West Wing! In our first-ever non-Tim special we’re taking some time to talk about Freedom, Democracy, and walking down long hallways while talking very quickly. We’ll also be talking about the best way to categorize exactly what kind of a little guy Charlie is. Don’t worry, friend, we’ll be back to Tim real soon but until then, let's take some time to enjoy one of the fabulous actors he’s worked alongside.

Megan and Beth are joined in this episode by the very first Don't Tell Tim guest star: Stephen, the local expert on the hit DCOM Luck of the Irish! (Don't worry we made him swear not to mention this to Tim, legally binding contract and all that). Enjoy hearing about one of Tim’s most unhinged roles and find out just how deeply one can analyze a movie made for children. It would be a great way to spend your Saint Patrick's Day… too bad this episode is coming out in August.

This week Megan and Beth find a hidden gem in Judging Amy. Join them as they discover the show that gave Tim his first series main role as Sean Potter, a worker in the foster care system. While reviewing Tim’s superb hair, Megan and Beth dig into the show's depiction of the juvenile justice system and why on Earth this show seems to be all but forgotten to time.

Ever seen Xena: Warrior Princess? Beth and Megan sure had not! Not until they found out that Tim was in six whole episodes! Join them as they try to piece together some idea of what is happening in this absolute fever dream of a show from only those six episodes, all while marveling at Tim’s perfect portrayal of Eli, the advocate for peace and love in the Xena-verse. Enjoy commentary ranging from a discussion on the representation of different religions in Xena to whether or not something can be too camp. All covered this episode on Don’t Tell Tim.

Every great actor has to start somewhere, even someone as great as Tim! In this episode, Megan and Beth tackle Tim’s television debut as a truly pivotal role in an episode of Seinfeld. Following that they discuss how Tim’s walk-on role in an episode of Frasier actually sets into motion the entire season plot. It just goes to show what a little Tim acting can do for a show.
