This week we talk with Abdulrahman Alkhamees AKA Abe who was born in Kuwait had dreams of going to the Pacific North West of America one day. Eventually his dreams came true and once he was in the PNW his life began to transform, He lost nearly 200 lbs, found cycling, and discovered a new way of life. Abe now rides LOADS of miles on his bike from gravel to road. He is always logging miles! His positive attitude is uplifting especially at the end of a big ride. I am excited to share this episode with you.

This week I connect with Nicolai Sclater AKA Ornamental Conifer, He is a an amazing artist who is deeply connected with lettering and utilizing sign painting techniques to create works of art on sports cars, helmets, motorcycles, skateboards, post arts, leather jackets, denim jackets and more! He is super consistent in his style and messaging. Ultra graphic hand painted elements on that are produced without a computer. Super privileged to get to know this one! Thank you Nico!

This week we catch up with Mark Alford who is a force of positivity. He talks about growing up in Indianapolis, IN riding track bikes, racing alley cats then transitioning into racing road bikes. He ended up in the bay area raced with Low bicycles, while DIY building a Tiny House. Mark now works with Rapha and is passionate about changing cycling through helping to make access to cycling more friendly to BIPoC. This week we talk with Wilis Johnson a friend I have know since 2004. Wilis has lived a life of cycling. Starting as a Bike Messenger in Seattle, Philly and New York. He found his way to racing road bikes, racing CX, Track Racking on the Velodrome and event Racing MTB. He has a keen eye for collecting vintage road and track bikes, with a rich knowledge of the history of cycling. He slowly build a community and brand from his shop Deluxe Cycles in NY. Wilis Currently resides in SF where he still run Deluxe Cycles on the daily. Stopping by the bike shop / museum/ store is well worth the effort.

After Burning out on racing bikes he was a bike mechanic and other odd jobs before he decided to dedicate to making videos on Youtube. He produces almost daily videos on cycling in a vlog format. His production quality is top notch, from editing to color. Each episode is mini movie ripe with bikes, personality and good vibes.
