Big Thanks to my guy Phill Carr, he was open to talk and be honest about alot of different topics. He's well educated and has a unique story of his own. The interesting thing about podcasting is getting to know the journey's of so many different people. This podcast episode goes in a ton of different directions. We talk food, music, hoops, and more. Phill and I talked so long i had to create a 3 part episode series! I was lowkey afraid of dropping this episode because its really unfiltered and i would ask if you would listen with an open mind. I appreciate all those that follow the FOTA podcast please be sure to like, comment, share, rate, and review and as always. Thank you for listening.

The podcast is back up and running and I got a chance to sit down and catch up with one of my former Butler teammates, Steven Bennett. It's crazy to say that our collegiate run was almost 9 years ago. We are getting old man. Steven has since been in medical school preparing to become an Orthopedic surgeon. We talk about his journey through med school and how he made that decision to become an othopedic surgeon. We also, raise the question of how can Butler basketball get back to the success its had in the past as well as the topic of leadership and what it takes to lead. I'm glad to be back on the mic and i hope that you enjoy this episode. If you like this podcast please like, rate, review, and subscribe. Thanks for listening!

Before I left Poland, I had an opportunity to sit down and record an episode with one of my all time favorite teammates, Tony Meier and his wife Stephanie. These two are some of my favorite people I've come across in this business and their story is worth the listen. They have overcome alot to live the life they live and are paving the way for more americans to have children that are born and raised in different countries. This is conversation I truly enjoyed and I hope you will too. Please be sure to rate, review, like, and subscribe. And as always, any and all support is appreciated

Episode 19 here. I have one question guys. Who's gonna carry the boats and the logs? S/O to David Goggins. This episode is for those who need that brief reminder to stay in the moment and be grateful for the present. I'm sure we all live somewhat of a busy life and it can be very demanding. But it's always enough time to take a moment for yourself. I talk alot about what it means to be present and the benefits of slowing down just a tad bit. I also go on a rant about social media being a crapshoot of negativity. Bring your lunch pales and your hardhats. It's gonna be a good one! I hope you enjoy. Please be sure to rate, review, like, and share. And as always, thank you for listening.

It's only so many times I can say i'm back. So I'll spare you. I hope 2024 is treating you well. This is another solo episode, which I really think I enjoy doing. In this episode, I talk about how fans and sports analyst have gone overboard with the criticism, an intriguing conversation I had with a good friend of mine, and why I didn't set any goals for 2024. All interesting stuff, I think you'll like it. As always, thank you for tuning in. Please be sure to like, share, rate, and review! I'd love to know what you think. PEACE!

Joey Burton is a skills trainer that masterfully teaches the art of shooting and other fundamental skills. I remember my first workout with him as a Senior at Butler and he was first person to ever tell me that i was shooting on the way down. He taught me to release the ball at the high point of my jump and always extend my arm, lock my elbow out and get those fingers down. I wanted to bring him on the podcast because i witnessed firsthand how he would work for free and now he flies all over the USA working with NBA guys on the daily. How many of us are willing to be a servant in our profession long before you get paid or get the recognition? We talk alot of basketball, of course, but also about self discovery and ones true purpose in life. Please be sure to like, rate, subscribe, share, and review. As always, thank you for tuning in.

Episode 14 with my guy Joey Brunk is underway and it's a good one. I really enjoyed Joey's candid perspective on life and the game of basketball having faced so much adveristy. From Indiana, all the way to his 2nd year as a pro in Czech Republic he's stayed true to himself and his process. We talk alot about the competitive basketball market, how the game has changed, and our connection to mother nature. Tune in to episode 14, pls be sure to like, share, rate, review and subscribe. Welcome to the podcast Alumni Keenan Gumbs. Keenan is a former pro hooper who decided to retire mid way through his career for his other passion in strength and conditioning. He is starting his new career at the University of Kentucky as the assistant strength coach for Men's Basketball. Prior to his retirement, Keenan and I had a chess match of a playoff battle in Sweden in 20/21 that we talk alot about. It was interesting to hear about that series from the opponents perspective. We also talk a bit about what makes Kentucky so elite and what it was like to have a pool party at Drake's crib. Tune in to episode 13 and please be sure to like, rate, review, and subscribe to the FOTA podcast. Any and all support is appreciated.

It's always loves catching up with the guys man. S/O to my bro Tyler Wideman for coming on for episode 11. I can tell by our conversation that he's grown in wisedom from his past experiences. His is what it is mentality is so on brand for him and who he is. He's not a man of many words so when he speaks it's usually comedy or pure substance behind it. We back at it again with another episode of your favorite podcast with my guy, Jamel Morris. Yeah, that's right. Allow me to introduce you to your new favorite hooper. Aside from all the stepback game winners and big eurocup games Mel's story goes a bit deeper than the surface. On this episode, Mel opens up about the struggle, the dark days of rehab, and being in the shadows of others. This is a story of will power. He legitmately refused to be denied. When you listen to this episode, I'm more than sure you will have a different appreciation for his game and what he represents as a person. I hope you enjoy this episode and pls like, share, comment, and subscribe to the podcast if you havent already. And as always, thank you for listening! -

Maaan what a conversation. It ran a bit longer than usual but in editing their was nothing I could take out. My bro Esian (9 year bro from Kansas City) was just that good. He shared more than enough wisdom having accomplished so much in his career. I wanted to share his experience about retiring from basketball because it's something that athletes struggle with. It is very challenging to some to not just change careers, but change a lifestyle. I love the name of this episode because he was the first person I met overseas that helped me understand the game and guide me through what it means to be a pro overseas. I'm sure you will find this episode very insightful. And as always, be sure to rate, review, comment, subscribe, all the good stuff. Thanks for listening!
