It does this by looking at the behavioral markers of individual consumers, including location, buying trends, how often they visit a restaurant, where they live, and how often they're near a restaurant. With that data, they look for patterns, and based on those patterns, the team can generate a custom message for a specific customer in the form of a push notification. Spike says that message is almost guaranteed to be meaningful, causing the customer to take action.
