GlossaryBlocksize War: Blocksize War refers to the debate and conflict within the cryptocurrency community regarding the appropriate size of blocks in a blockchain. It revolves around the scalability and capacity of a blockchain network and involves different stakeholders advocating for different block size limits.
Ordinals: Information inscribed on satoshi - similar to the ERC-721 standard on Bitcoin. L1: Layer 1, refers to the base layer of a blockchain, which handles the core functionalities and security of the network.
Mining Pools: Mining pools are groups of miners who collaborate and combine their computing power to increase their chances of successfully mining blocks and earning rewards in cryptocurrency. By pooling their resources, miners can collectively solve complex mathematical problems more efficiently and distribute the rewards among participants.
Nodes: Nodes are individual devices or computers that participate in a blockchain network. They maintain a copy of the blockchain's entire transaction history, verify transactions, and propagate information across the network. Nodes can be full nodes, which store the complete blockchain, or lightweight nodes that rely on other full nodes for transaction verification.

Cosmos: Cosmos is a decentralized network of independent blockchains that can communicate and exchange value with each other. It allows developers to easily build and launch new blockchain applications while maintaining their own sovereignty and interoperability with other chains in the network.Virtual Machine: A virtual machine is a software emulation of a physical machine that runs programs in the same way as a physical machine. It allows multiple operating systems to run on a single physical machine, making it more efficient and cost-effective. Virtual machines are commonly used in cloud computing and software development.
ZkSync: ZkSync is a Layer 2 scaling solution for Ethereum that uses zero-knowledge proofs to enable fast and low-cost transactions with increased privacy. It allows users to transfer Ethereum and ERC-20 tokens instantly, with high throughput and low gas fees.Zk-Rollup: ZK rollup is a layer 2 scaling solution for blockchain networks that bundles many transactions into a single transaction, thereby reducing the computational load and increasing transaction throughput. It uses Zero-Knowledge proofs to ensure the validity of the bundled transactions, without revealing their content, thereby maintaining privacy and security.
Validators: Validators are nodes in a blockchain network that participate in the process of verifying transactions and adding blocks to the blockchain. Validators are responsible for maintaining the security and integrity of the blockchain network by ensuring that all transactions are valid and that no double-spending occurs. They play a crucial role in achieving consensus among all nodes in the network and are often rewarded with native cryptocurrency for their efforts.

Glossary
Volatility Trading: Volatility trading involves buying and selling financial instruments based on expected market volatility. It is used to manage risk and profit from market movements. Traders may use options, futures, or other derivatives to capitalize on predicted price swings.Derivative Markets: The derivatives market is a financial market where contracts are traded that derive their value from an underlying asset or group of assets, such as stocks, bonds, commodities, or currencies. These contracts allow traders to speculate on the future price movements of the underlying asset, hedge against potential losses, or gain exposure to the asset without owning it directly.
Option Derivatives: Option derivatives are financial instruments that give the holder the right, but not the obligation, to buy or sell an underlying asset at a predetermined price and time. They are used for hedging or speculation in the financial markets.
Future Derivatives: Futures derivatives are financial contracts that obligate the buyer to purchase an underlying asset at a predetermined price and date in the future, while the seller is obligated to deliver that asset at the specified price and date. Futures are often used as a risk management tool by investors to hedge against potential price fluctuations.
Longing: Longing is a term used in trading and investing, specifically in the context of buying an asset with the expectation that its value will increase over time. It is the opposite of shorting, which involves selling an asset with the expectation that its value will decrease.
Shorting: Shorting refers to a trading strategy where an investor sells an asset they do not own, with the intention of buying it back later at a lower price. The investor profits from the difference in the selling and buying price. It is often used to speculate on a potential decline in the value of an asset.
