Hey there girls! Today we dive into on of our favorite movies and discuss the way the Holy Spirit moves through the movie Moana, the wounds of the characters and how wounds effect us in our lives. If you attended our Moana themed retreat and think you have already heard this, don't worry this is not the same conversation. We take Moana in a different angle and go deeper. God desires healing of our wounds and learning about them helps us to recognize our own wounding and need for healing. We have some fun with a pretty serious topic. Share this video with friends!! We talk about Dr. Bob Schutts Healing the Whole Person and the 7 deadly wounds.https://jpiihealingcenter.org/

Today we are sharing an episode from our other podcast, the His Beloved Catholic Podcast, where we invited our middle school daughters on the podcast. This is a crossover episode and the format is different than what you will typically hear on Girl Arise. We asked the girls a couple of questions and man they just went for it! We were blown away by their genuineness and vulnerability. It was just beautiful. They share from middle school prospective about identity, faith, and learning to trust in God. The first real episode of Girl Arise will launch next week! Invite all of the girls that you know to join us!

There is finally a place for Catholic girls to grow in holiness and have a little fun at the same time. Kendra Bartlett and Megan Copeland, the hosts of the His Beloved Catholic Podcast, love to inspire teens and young adults to live out their Catholic faith authentically. We are introducing a new podcast called Girl Arise: A Podcast for Catholic Girls. We have a heart for the feminine genius in young girls. We desire to speak to the heart of girls to draw them closer to the heart of Jesus. Each episode we will discuss topics that matter to girls: identity, friendship, relationship, Theology of the Body, dignity of our bodies, prayer, discernment, following the Holy Spirit, scripture, Saints, etc. We will laugh and have fun and surrender our hearts more to the Lord and His vision for our lives each week. As Jesus said "Talitha Khum" it is time girl to arise.
