    Brent talks with Graham McAleer about his new book from the Catholic University Press of America called ‘Tolkien, Philosopher of War’.

    Graham has a doctorate from Louvain, Belgium, where he wrote on medieval philosophy and theology. Graham is the author of books on ethics and moral theology. He’s a member of the Judicial Ethics Committee of the State of Maryland and a regular contributor to the national online magazine Law and Liberty, where he writes on culture and politics. He’s a professor of philosophy at Loyola University in Baltimore. He’s taught there for over 30 years and was awarded Teacher of the Year in 2014.

    ‘Russell was born with a rare craniofacial disorder called Goldenhar syndrome, where the left side of his face was not formed. Years of patchwork surgeries made him more outwardly presentable, but not without deep pain and physical and emotional scars. But a life changing encounter broke through to him with a power he never thought possible, in the very place he never thought to look – his broken face’.

    Russell is the director of Foursquare Multiply, the church planting movement of the Foursquare denomination in the States. He’s also lead pastor of Faith Center, a historic church in the Foursquare Movement.     Cameron is himself an adoptee. He faced his own tumultuous search for and reunion with his mother in Korea. Cameron is now a licensed clinical counsellor, and mental health advocate based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He was born in Korea and relinquished into foster care at age 3. He was then adopted in 1984 to a family in the States. His private practice, ‘Therapy Redeemed’ specializes in the mental health needs of adoptees and their families wherever they may be in their own adoption journey.
