Labor Day weekend is in the rearview and that means late summer action is coming in hot! Stu is back to action at Fistful of Dirt in Wyoming, which is super exciting having spent most of the summer in rehab with a complicated, busted wing. The Kings logged Vermont Overland, Ted just completed the Green Mountain Stage Race, plus we tackle questions about maximizing ones results on minimal training, optimizing training without analytics of modern cycling, plus loads more.

Fresh back from a four week van trip followed immediately by a bike racing trip to Europe, the Kings have lots to talk about. This is Ted's first experience with UCI gravel, Laura has a terrific go at her women's elite race, all in hopes of qualifying for the UCI world championships. Meanwhile, Stu's recovery isn't yet complete, but it's at the point where he's ready to pin on a number at the upcoming Fistful of Dirt in Cody, WY.
International travel, the gravel arms race, what is each of our single races we would love to do forever, there's plenty to talk about in this fun episode.

On the heals of Nepomuk Narly and The Last Best Ride, the Kings check in from Montana to talk all things gravel cycling. Given that gravel cyclists come from all disciplines and backgrounds, why not talk about the Tour, the gravel stage at the Tour, the wet and wild Olympic time trials, plus the Olympic mountain bike races. Riveting stuff here as the "second half" of the season kicks into gear.

After Unbound, the first weekend of June, it's inevitable that riders will take even just a bit of a break. Laura and Ted kept on the gas for a few more weeks before making their way to Maine for a week full of patriotic RnR. Stu continues on the mend, although with a considerable setback en route.
The Tour Divide is over for some but plenty remain on the route. We talk about the granddaddy of bikepacking races, the Tour Divide.
The gang talk about their dreamy summer ride. What's the very best of the best during these sunny summer months.
What's the biggest meal we've eaten after a huge ride. Or what we prefer for optimal recovery... and best taste.
Naturally, plus lots more!

With Stu's collarbone on the mend and the Kings tackling events on either side of North America, there's lots to chew on. Did you know the UCI requires no more than 10 intersections in their gravel races? Or something like that, we'll try to get to the bottom of whether the UCI is making for safe racing or just chasing entry fees.
