James Sinclair is a kids entertainer that built up a multi-million pound family entertainment business that has become the Partyman Group which consists of: Partyman World (9 soft play centres), Twizzle Tops (6 daycare nurseries - with 2 more planned for this year) Lazer Kombat (3 laser combat arenas), Fort Fun (a water park on the South Coast) Marsh Farm Animal Adventure (70 acre farm park), Teddy Tastic (b2b manufacturing brand that has produced over a million teddy bears) and Magic Makers a registered charity for seriously ill children.
The magic began when he was 15 delivering parties and magic shows. His Grandad was employee No.1 (well, more like a volunteer as he never wanting paying!) and since then he clocked up over a £100 million in sales, employ 450 staff and continue to welcome over a million customers through our doors every year.

Christian Burns is a singer songwriter and was a member of the popular British band BBMak, along with Mark Barry and Stephen McNally. The group sold nearly three million albums worldwide and had a top 5 single with "Back Here", in the UK. In the United States, "Back Here" reached number 1 in the charts and received heavy video play on MTV and TRL.
In 2003, the band broke up, and all the members went on to pursue solo careers. Since then Burns has been collaborating with other artists and dance projects. In 2007, he worked with Tiësto on the track "In the Dark", for the album Elements of Life. He collaborated with Tiësto again on the track entitled "Power of You", where Tiësto used the alias Allure.
He has also collaborated with Benny Benassi, on the song "Love and Motion", and American singer Jes Brieden on the song "As We Collide".
Christian opens up in the podcast and discusses his battles with anxiety and mental health and how he overcome and reinvented himself in the song writing world.
Christian also discusses how he now teaches other singers to produce their own music as apart of his new project called record ready vocals.

Richard Browning is Founder and Chief Test Pilot of Gravity Industries.
Gravity Industries designs, builds and flies Jet Suits, pioneering a new era of human flight.
The company was founded in March 2017 to challenge the perceived boundaries in
human aviation and to inspire others to dare to ask “What if?”. It now scales towards an
International Race Series.
Prior to founding Gravity, Richard was a Royal Marines reservist for six years and an Oil
Trader with BP for 16 years. He developed business in many countries including
Azerbaijan, Mozambique, Russia and conducted trade relations with many more.
He discovered and implemented major new technologies in BP including turning a $30k
groundbreaking trade flow analytics (ship tracking) platform still at the heart of the global
commodity industry to this day. It won the BP Group innovation Award and generated in
excess of $50m within 3 months. He has also been a key participant and investor in a
number of successful start-up ventures externally and is a passionate STEM advocate.
Gravity has to date been experienced by over one billion people globally with Richard and
his cohort of growing pilots completing nearly 100 flights around the world and speaking
at dozens of events from TED Talks to XPrize.
When he is not flying around the world, Richard is in Salisbury with his wife Debbie and
their two children, Oliver and Thomas, kayaking and camping amongst other things.

Nick dropped out of university at the age of 21, and failed spectacularly with his first coaching business, which forced him to take a £16k/yr telesales job.
Within 12 months he was top performer and left to start his second business at 24. This time he discovered a winning formula and before long had a multi-six-figure company.
He then made a huge mistake which nearly put him out of business and cost him £50,000 in personal cash!

Susanna's storyMy journey with work-based learning began over 20 years ago when I completed an NVQ 2 while working as a support worker with adults with learning disabilities. I'd already completed a 3-year degree at university, but found the NVQ far more useful as it was practical and relevant to the work I was doing. It made sense.
A few years later, I became an assessor and then an IQA for the NHS trust I was working for. I then left the NHS to work for a training provider who delivered apprenticeships – where I later became national contracts manager. As I started my journey into apprenticeships, the inefficiencies soon became clear. A huge amount of paper was required to record the audit trail. Carrying cumbersome paper portfolios was not logistically efficient. Reporting wasn't objective as it wasn’t in real time and was out of date by the time you received it. The whole system was completely out of date, so I thought to myself – surely technology can be used to solve these problems? And so OneFile was born.

Mark was appointed as the Chief Executive of AELP over 3 years ago. He is on the Board of WorldSkills UK as well as a range of government boards such as the ESFA Advisory Board, IfATE Quality Alliance and the DfE’s Apprenticeship Stakeholder Board.
Most recently, Mark Dawe was the Chief Executive of OCR, the exam board, for 5 years. He has been a governor of primary schools, secondary and a further education college. Mark has a wealth of experience across a broad spectrum in the education field. Prior to his role at OCR, Mark was Principal of Oaklands FE College (and AELP Board Director) having been Deputy Director, FE Strategy at the Department of Education and Skills and before that as Deputy Director, Adult Basic Skills Strategy Unit after joining the department in 2003.
Having read Economics at Cambridge University before qualifying as a chartered accountant at KPMG, Mark joined Canterbury College, becoming Head of Corporate Services in 1994. In 2000, he helped set up eGS, an e-procurement provider to the public sector. He gets his grit and resilience from supporting Plymouth Argyle and Boreham Wood, cycling and four school and university aged children.

East Sussex College Group was formed on 31 March 2018 as a result of a merger between Sussex Coast College Hastings and Sussex Downs College. The merged college has four campuses at Hastings, Eastbourne, Newhaven and Lewes. Sussex Downs College was inspected in November 2017 and was judged to require improvement. Sussex Coast College Hastings was inspected in December 2017 and was judged to be good.
