In this episode of Inspired, we’re continuing our conversation with the incredible Candice Falcon, owner of Falcon Artistry, as she dives even deeper into her world of paramedical and restorative tattooing. Candice is making big moves—literally—from Canada to Las Vegas, where she’ll soon be splitting her time between two businesses. In part 2 of our chat, my apprentices (Adrienne, Aleks, Ari, Maddie) and I explore the amazing work she does, from tattooing nipples and penises for transgender and cancer clients to scar camouflage and so much more.

Candice walks us through how she’s building her clientele here in Vegas, including her strategy for connecting with surgical doctors who perform procedures like mastectomies or gender confirmation surgeries. You’ll hear all about her hands-on approach, like taking brochures directly to doctors, route planning, and why face-to-face conversations are key to building trust with medical professionals. She’s not just sending emails—she’s making real connections that lead to life-changing results for her clients.

We also touch on how she feminizes the faces of transgender clients through permanent makeup and how crucial it is to explain the power of paramedical tattooing in person. Plus, Candice shares tips for artists looking to grow in this field, including how to network and build meaningful partnerships within the medical community. It’s an episode packed with insight, authenticity, and a whole lot of heart—don’t miss it!

🎙️In this exciting episode of Inspired, I, Ms Amber Red, am thrilled to welcome special guest Candice Falcon, owner of Falcon Artistry from Vancouver, Canada!

Alongside my amazing apprentices Adrienne, Aleks, Ari, and Maddie, we dive into the world of medical tattooing with Candice, who specializes in restorative work for transgender clients, cancer survivors, and anyone with scars needing camouflage or realistic tattooing.

Candice shares her incredible journey, her passion for paramedical tattooing, and what it’s like moving from Canada to join our Inspired team in Las Vegas. We also explore the differences in business regulations between Canada and the U.S. Did you know there are no licensing requirements for permanent makeup or paramedical tattooing in Canada? 🤯 Candice opens up about the challenges this creates and why proper, long-term training is so important for artists in this field.

Candice also shares why she prefers to train advanced students who have a strong foundation in tattooing and discusses the dangers of quick, surface-level trainings. This episode is so packed with insights that we turned it into a two-part series! In the next episode, Candice will talk more about the top areas she tattoos, camouflages, or restores for her clients. You won’t want to miss it—stay tuned for part two!

Ever wonder what draws someone into the world of permanent makeup? 🤔 In this episode of Inspired, I, Ms Amber Red, sit down with my incredible apprentices—Aleks, Adrienne, Maddie, Ari—and our studio coordinator, Sasha, to chat about the unique moments that led them to this exciting career.

Adrienne and Ari started in the beauty world as estheticians, while Maddie’s journey took her from Massachusetts to Las Vegas after connecting with one of my first apprentices, Tania, on TikTok. The online bond they formed led Maddie to pack her bags and jump headfirst into the world of permanent makeup. Not a makeup girly? Neither is Maddie—that’s exactly why she fell in love with the convenience of having her makeup ready to go every day! 🌟

Aleks, our newest apprentice, comes from a background in art, and her love for permanent makeup is also inspired by her mom, who works in the industry. Her dream? To bring permanent makeup to Japan!

In this episode, you’ll hear the girls share their stories, how their apprenticeships are going so far, and what they’ve learned under my wing. It’s a fun, heartfelt chat about our shared passion for beauty, artistry, and helping people feel their best. Tune in and get to know the Inspired team a little better!

Today on Inspired by Ms Amber Red…In house artist Tania D Artistry takes over the mic with guest Maddie aka Symmetrically Maddie visiting all the way from Massachusetts!

When Tania and Maddie met on Tik tok 2 years ago they would’ve never guessed where this friendship would lead to. Maddie drove all the way across the country to participate in our extended stay training program at Ms Amber Red.

The girls have completely different techniques when it comes to permanent makeup. Maddie’s East coast technique is alot softer and natural compared to Tania’s west coast techniques, which is what brings them together yet also sets them apart. The two come together and share their knowledge - “NO GATE KEEPING” that is what it’s all about.

Here at Inspired by Ms Amber Red in Las Vegas we believe all artists should complete a 6 month apprenticeship and find a mentor who supports their future and whatever that looks like! It’s the mentor’s responsibility to not withhold information to help you be the best artist you can be!

Welcome back to another episode of Inspired by Ms Amber Red located in Las Vegas Nevada. Today Amber, Sasha and Brisa talk about the things that you should not do after getting tattooed!

Even as artists we forget sometimes how to properly care for our tattoos and we end up in funky healing situations. Do what we say and not like we do, and don’t be like Amber and go dirt biking even if you are covered up right after getting tattooed. THE DIRT WILL GET IN! When in doubt always talk to your artist to ensure you are healing in the best conditions and aren’t going to risk messing up the investment of your new tattoo.

Psst…find out what tattoos we have that no one knows about! 😝

I have a serious question: as artists are you afraid about the results lasting too long? Are you using touchups as the main base of your business or are you hustling in new ways, putting yourself out there to get a constant flow of new clients, & learning new techniques to ensure you are bringing that creative edge? Do you think you know it all, that you don’t need any more training? This couldn't be the furthest from the truth! As artists it is important to always keep learning!

In this episode we discuss dilution. Have you heard of dilution? It comes from traditional body tattooing. Think of a black and grey tattoo. This is exactly what we do with the target brow color. Do you use a variety of movements such as pointillism, whip shading, and circles all in one brow procedure? We discuss the importance of knowing how to dilute your pigment and also knowing how and when to switch up your movements to achieve any result during the procedure. Dare I say…these techniques we’re discussing work on all skin types!

Psst. The secret we are discussing that will make your life easier, is here: Pixelated and Bold Ombre Brow Course - https://www.inspiredbymsamberred.com/ombre-brow-course
