Welcome to a new month on Commune Online! Here we are rolling right into spring with a focus on moving new energies into our practice.
The sun is shining, birds are chirping, and it’s time to start defrosting from the winter chill. This month, we’re shifting our focus to the inner needs of clearing our new space and starting fresh. It’s time for a little SPRING CLEANING 🐣If our practice and our inner landscape is to be our home, our hope is to make it a place we want to live. To have enough space, nourishment, fresh air, and comfort that there is no where else we’d rather be.
but, carving out enough space? Sweeping the dusty corners? clearing the cobwebs? putting fresh food in the fridge? wiping down the windows to let the sun shine in? THATS THE WORK.

When Carling gave birth to Harvey we spent a good amount of time in the hospital, which led to us discussing when are our experiences nurturing growth versus when are we becoming numb to get through the moment.
In the yoga practice we all strive to be as present as possible and not wish moments of our life away, but in reality that is only a goal at which we can strive for. Life comes in waves, some of them you will wish would never end and others that you wish would never start. Either way you see things currently how can we live with an opportunistic mindset to explore what is in front of us at the moment to continue to grow as people.
