Major General Woods served with the 5th Inniskilling Dragoon Guards from 1943 to 1967.

Lieutenant Colonel Tottenham served with the fifth inniskilling dragoon guards from 1943 to 1947 and with the Sharp shooters from 1954 to 1965.
