Actor: Mary Birdsong
Mary grew up in the small beach community of Long Beach Island, NJ, but her family hails from Louisiana. She graduated from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA in acting, and the Stella Adler Award for Outstanding Achievement in Acting. Recently Mary was also awarded an honorary Masters Degree in Acting from the American Conservatory Theatre (ACT) in San Francisco.
Mary made her Broadway debut in "Martin Short: Fame Becomes Me" in 2006, for which she won the prestigious Theatre World Award. Mary also stared as rookie cop "Deputy Kimball" in Reno 911 on Comedy Central, and in the Fox feature film "Reno 911: Miami."
She has performed in several shows on Comedy Central-- appearing regularly on the network in "Crossballs," Contest Searchlight w/Dennis Leary and "The Daily Show w/Jon Stewart." Mary has appeared in numerous TV pilots, including CBS' "Rubbing Charlie" (starring Scott Wolfe), a FOX sitcom starring James Caan and Jill Clayburgh, the role of "Connie" in CBS' "Welcome to New York" with Christine Baranski, and a co-starring role with Cheri Oteri in the sitcom pilot, "Loomis." Mary has appeared as a guest star on "Normal People" (FOX TV pilot with Tori Spelling), and "Talk To Me" (ABC sitcom w/Kyra Sedgwick). She has done guest spots on MTV's "Apt. 2F," NBC's "ED" & "Late Night With Conan O'Brien" & "The Howard Stern Show" on E!. As a writer/performer Mary created 25+ original characters in the NBC sketch comedy pilot, "Live On Tape". But Mary is no stranger to the legitimate stage.
She trod the boards in the very UN-legitimate role of "Vixen Fox" (a porn star) in Elaine May's off-Broadway comedy "Adult Entertainment" with Danny Aiello and Jeannie Berlin at the Variety Arts Theatre in NYC. Other theatre roles include "Portia" in the Moonwork production of "Julius Caesar" in New York City, and "Victoria Fitch" in the musical "Palm Beach." She wrote and starred in the one-woman off-Broadway show "Judy Speaks" at the Ars Nova Theatre in New York City, and at Playhouse Merced in CA. She also wrote/starred in a series of one-acts for her alter-ego, the 1940s B-movie star Janet Lamé, who made her small screen debut on NBC's variety show "Late Friday." She has also performed her other one-woman shows "The Very Mary Birdsong Show" & "The Respectable Race" in L.A. at the HBO/WB Workspace and in New York @ PSNBC. Other film credits include "Beer League" (w/Artie Lange), "Pizza," "Le Chase," "Above Freezing," "Let It Snow," "In God's Hands," (starring Peter Sarsgaard) and "The Last Request" (starring Danny Aiello.)

Actor: Nicole Eggert
Nicole joins me to talk about her life, career, battling cancer, the paparazzi being relentless after chemotherapy and so much more.
Nicole Eggert launched her full-fledged acting career soon after appearing in some TV commercials. She began her acting career in 1979, where she portrayed the character of âMary Beth Dentonâ in a television film titled âWhen Hell was in Session.â After appearing in a made-for-TV movie titled âWhen She Was BadâŠâ in the same year, she made her feature film debut in 1980. She was cast opposite Jacqueline Bisset and Candice Bergen, for playing the role of âDebby Blake,â the young daughter of Bergenâs character in her debut movie âRich and Famous.â In the same year, she lent her voice for Dennis's sworn adversary, the snotty Margaret Wade in âDennis the Menace in Mayday for Mother.â It was the first animated adaptation in the Dennis the Menace trilogy.
During the early and mid-1980s, Nicole appeared in a number of television shows and some major films including her twin television shows in 1981 viz., âToday's F.B.Iâ and âFantasy Island,â âThe Clan of the Cave Bearâ and âI Dream of Jeannie... Fifteen Years Laterâ. In 1982, she landed a prime role in a recurring capacity as William Shatner's daughter on the police drama âT.J.Hooker.â She successfully bagged another recurring role in the popular situational comedy series âWho's the Boss?â She played the role of Marci Ferguson, a friend of the character Samantha Micelli, which was portrayed by Alyssa Milano. She appeared in the show in the episodes released during 1985-1986.
In 1987, Nicole Eggert hogged the limelight and rose to prominence attracting her first ever true national stardom, when she starred on the sitcom âCharles in Chargeâ as Jamie Powell. On June 25, 1989, she along with Richard William Wheaton III hosted the second annual Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards. She was seen in the television series âThe Super Mario Bros. Super Show!â in a guest appearance in the same year.
She appeared in the TV movie adaptation of Danielle Steel's Secrets portraying the character of Alexa Adams in 1992. Nicole Eggert completely metamorphosed her image from a captivating child artist to a bombshell sex symbol, when she appeared as âSummer Quinn,â one of the many lifeguards on season 3 and 4, in the renowned syndicated series, a world famous beach drama âBaywatch.â She had to get a breast implant, sign a contract agreeing not to gain any weight and had to pass a swim test to grab the role. Though she was supposed to return on the spin-offs of the beach action drama, she only returned for the reunion movie âBaywatch: Hawaiian Weddingâ (2003).
Nicole Eggert along with celebrity actress like Yasmine Bleeth, Pamela Anderson, and Carmen Electra formed the group of âBaywatch Girlsâ and became the celebrity crush of the world after their appearance in the highly popular syndicated series.

The regiments that make up the Royal Guard are some of the oldest and most prestigious infantry regiments in the British Army. The Grenadier Guards specialize in light infantry provision and may also serve in operational roles overseas. In these duties, they wear the popular red ceremonial uniform and bearskin hats that the Royal Guard are famous for. In this role, their primary function is the protection duty for the royal residence. They stand guard outside the palace in order to protect the royal residents from any harm.

JoaquĂn CosĂo is one of the best actors on the planet. His work in Narcos alone is some of the best acting you will ever see on screen. It still gives me chills.
Joaquin CosĂo was born in Nayarit, Mexico. His training as an actor began in 1983 and has continued growing and developing ever since. In 1994, CosĂo wrote his first stage play, titled Tomochic: Or the day the world ended, which was awarded the National Literature Prize. Performing in over 50 plays and over 600 live performances, his stage career reached a new milestone in 1999 when he was hand selected to join the National Theater Company. This led CosĂo to make the decision to move to Mexico City permanently and focus on becoming a full-time actor. He has been working non-stop ever since as one of Mexico's most respected actors of stage and screen.
He made his film debut in 2001 in the film The Blue Room and he has since participated in over 30 feature films and several shorts. CosĂo played a multi-episode role in the HBO comedy Eastbound & Down. He played General Medrano, one of the main villains in the James Bond film Quantum of Solace, and acted alongside Benicio del Toro in Oliver Stone's gritty thriller, Savages. CosĂo appeared in Robert Duvall's A Night in Old Mexico, and in Disney's 2013 filmThe Lone Ranger, starring Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer.
He is absolutely unnerving and terrifying as Don Neto in Narcos. Role after Role he is truly a treasure on screen.

Uwe Boll is a polarizing figure when it comes to filmmaking. Some fans find his work enjoyable, others believe the opposite. One thing is for sure, he is passionate about making movies.
As a youth, he produced a number of short films on Super 8 and video. After short stints as guest auditor at Filmacademy Vienna and Filmhochschule Munich, Boll studied literature and economics in Cologne and Siegen. He graduated from university in 1995 with a doctorate in literature. From 1995-2000, he was a producer and director with Taunus Film-Produktions GmbH. Boll was Chief Executive Officer of Bolu Filmproduction and Distribution GmbH which he founded in 1992. He continued to direct, write and produce feature films until 2016. His main companies are Event Films in Vancouver and Bolu Film in Germany. A longtime resident of Canada, Boll owned the restaurant "Bauhaus" in Vancouver from 2015 to 2020. Returned to Germany and resumed filming in 2020.
Uwe's newest film (First Shift) is now available On Demand and in theaters.
