This is a program about Swedish and Nordic folk music brought to you by the publishing company Tongång.

The summer edition of the Nordic Drones podcast contains an interview with Swedish bagpiper Olle Gällmo presenting his new CD Med pipan i säcken, focused on the Swedish bagpipe. You’ll hear several samples from the CD and Olle gives us a background to his passion for this rather unknown drone instrument.

This pilot podcast starts in Karlstad, western Sweden, in January 2008 when journalist-musician Rino Rotevatn organized a meeting for Swedish bagpipe players.
